How does one attain godhood?
You already attained it before. Try to remember your first memories and then you will understand what happens between death and birth. You will also understand what godhood entails, it's compareable to torture in a way, and why you wanted to be born as a lower life form instead.

You only want godhood so long as you are operating within the social aspect of your mind, you ever think of that? People only ever wanna do something when in the social aspect of their mind, you are currently in it so you won't get it, but any ideas of being a doer will disappear when you are truly individuated or isolated. That's the story of the fallen angels right, they are this social cliquey group, they see that in their clique there's this that or the other, then they do x thing. My point is none of this would've happened had you been the black sheep. These mythical stories represent the intellectual part of people right, animals don't have an ego because even while they're social they have a primitive solipsistic perception, so they don't care about Apotheosis or rebellion they only wanna currently do what makes them feel good, i.e. dopamine chasing

Eliminate that in your life, mind, body and soul standing in the away. Since before any of us were born or deity power and wisdom is locked behind the thanked, useless nature of how our everything interconnected with everything else for using more optional deity powers. Already you use the most necessary, and so does everyone else, holding everything together in this Creations; but miracles, even necessary ones, such as destroying and creating a couple cells per planet and large place to battle increase our spiritual power, is only possible because of those efforts to spirituality, to good, morality, kindness, love that each of us give adding up to enough will for all of us to gradually extricate ourselves from our spiritual weakness. And acts that have the same effect but better than destroying whole cells and parts of them and adding cells, requiring little or no bodily change, are also welcome if you help, but the list is short of people willing to bloody their hands with what is right in blessing everyone with power at small bodily cost per individual, but it adds info to universes of blood...to tend to that which others will if you do not for high spiritual pay harming and mutating elderly and babies, civilized and savage, mortal and immortal, that would help me and us a lot if you did it. I do it day and night every day and night.
