>>42991282You only become conscious once you attain personhood around the age of around 4 years old at the earliest when you develop basic theory of mind and other such concepts. Prior to that you are human in species only. Memories are bound to the brain which gets annihilated. Only raw experience persists. Your body gets dropped down by a storch into your mother's hands, and that body's brain begins to pick up your conscious signal as it matures.
