as a child i drowned at the bottom of a pool, i remember it all very vividly, especially the very comforting and peaceful feeling toward the end where things started turning black and then i saw the light. yet when i reached for it, i suddenly found myself back on the surface of the pool, safe and able to breathe, some distance away from where i drowned, and it was as though nothing had happened at all.does anyone else have a similar experience? was is it some bizarre near death experience? it still spooks me, i think about it alot over a decade later
>>42996141were your parents nearby? What did they say? Do they remember the incident? Have you asked them?
I woke up one day and asked my mother if we would go back to the place with the gigantic trees (so high you cant see where they reach) from yesterday and she said she doesnt know what im talking about and then i realized it must have been a dream.
>>42996149they were not present when it happened, it was a crowded wave pool and my sibling was too young to swim toward the middle, where i wanted to go. so i went alone and got trapped under a group of adults sitting on big inflatable pool floats that kept kicking me to the bottom while the motion of the water confused me. i kept trying to get their attention, i even managed to briefly touch one of their hands, but they didnt notice me regardless, at least for as long as i was conscious/what i remember. i never brought it up to my parents later, it was too weird. i didnt think they or anyone else would believe it or understand, i wouldnt believe it myself either hearing it afterall>>42996177it felt too real to be a dream, ive never had a dream lucid enough to still give me anxiety thinking about it years later like this, or that plagues my thoughts so much
>>42996141I tried to kill myself with an OD. Ended up in hospital, I ended up going to the other side but when I got there everybody told me it wasn't me time and that I had to go back. When I came round I was in a new body, I was suddenly skinny when I was fat before. I have never understood this. My clothes were hanging off me, I went from being obese to thin as fuck in 7 days. I've done the maths, the amount of weight I lost during that stretch isn't even possible. I'm sure I hopped timeline.
>>42996141I told my mom the truth about how her friend's kid tried to drown me and she didn't give a shit and neither did the other parent iirc. Her friend who was the parent of the kid was literally my teacher at the time btw. I have no idea why neither of them cared. Yes I was in the GATE program and apparently one of the requirements is that you have a near drowning experience in childhood.
>>42996226i share the same thought i think. i feel like i really did die and somehow i got hopped into a different timeline because there was no saving me in the one i came from>>42996230thats really weird, ive never heard that about GATE, bizarre
>>42996265My mom really cares about me and that teacher cared about me, thats the weird thing. I think they were just embarassed or something, but in reality the kid should've gotten his ass kicked. I really hate weak women too afraid to discipline their sons.
>>42996141I nearly drowned twice as a baby but I was saved before having a nde, because of this I had aquaphobia for many years though, didn't you?Years ago time-jump stories were popular on the internet. Many were about people who had a deadly car crash but then they were just driving and the crash had not happened. I also remember a guy on a forum who claimed he had been shot by thugs, ran away, and suddenly he hadn't been shot.Honestly I did not believe these stories much, but I like the idea of the possibility to jump to a parallel universe when terrible things happen. I wasn't able to jump when terrible things happened to me, I guess they were not terrible enough.
>>42996371>because of this I had aquaphobia for many years though, didn't you?i still have it, i hate pools. i wont go in them. i wont go in the ocean or a lake either. the largest body of water ill go in is my bath tub>but I like the idea of the possibility to jump to a parallel universe when terrible things happeni dont really, it gives me anxiety attacks thinking that maybe there isnt any escape at all from life, like the samsara or whatevereternity terrifies me. it terrifies me so much
>>42996201Presumebly you were rescued by irresponsible adults, passed out and forgot what happened. Without details on what age you were etc. i can't say much more. But being along surrounded only by strangers is never a great situation to be in.
>>42996230>Yes I was in the GATE program and apparently one of the requirements is that you have a near drowning experience in childhood.Yeah but you got complete mistrust in authority figures and people who are supposed to care as well as just psychic powers. Why drowning specifically? Do you think the astral realm feels like swimming and that is why they try to traumatically jog your memory? Is that why some dreams feel like swimming instead of moving normally?
>>42996141Yes, my experience is similar, about the almost drowning part.Except, it never happened, that experience caused me to have some trauma, and I would stay away from pools or the sea, fearing it would happen again. But my family swears that never happened, so the most likely explanation is that those were memories from a past life, and that I indeed drowned and died at that point.
>>42996141Yeah hey, yeah. On robotussin I said i bet i am invincible and said to the mirror your head explodes. Then on ice a year later my head actually exploded and like I thought it was fine it came back fine and I actually did it as an experiment to save the human race, and I thought I could get a futurism grant. No luck, its a bit schizo :(. Rhine didn't answer either, and people have donated to this charities for research like mine and I bet they tell the rich doners that every avenue has been accounted for every year. Sorry.
>>42996371It happened to me in 2013. I was driving home at 6am after a night of partying and was in a horrible mental state. It was raining, the road was slippery and i was singing in the car, i wasn't paying attention to the road. I got to a dangerous crossroads and didn't check if cars were coming, i went straight into it. A red car came from my right, i noticed at the last second and tried to brake, but the tyres slipped on the asphalt. Next thing i saw was the car moving away from me on my left. It didn't try to avoid me by steering, and didn't sound its horn. It just went away and i found myself in the middle of the road, completely shocked. I cannot explain it to this day. It seemed that the collision was inevitable. I wasn't drunk, just tired and sad. Maybe it was a hallucination? Did someone up there decide to spare my life? Did i die in that reality and moved to this other one? Of course i have nothing to prove this, but why would I make up this shitty story?
>>42997733"Sorry I asked"* and that reminds me sorry to you that it is still unknown..And now i said so much, i am reminded further, sorry for them, that i asked, sorry to them that there is two, me n u. And now i said enough i remember that we/they would be sorry too, that its true and ti the donors too that they lie because i say this shit qlot and humanity is stupid itsl's happening already and schizos mean we rule.
6th dimensional override.
>>42996230I was in gifted and talented also, I have never almost drowned lol. It's from the random IQ test thing they give you in your first year.
>>42996141many similar experiences herehttps://www.nderf.org/Archives/NDERF_NDEs.html
also similar experiences here:https://www.oberf.org/sobe_stories.htm
Several weeks or so into a hospital stay I was in a room with a bunch of mid and under bitches yapping about inane crap. I thought they were nurses but based off what I gathered later at least some of them were cleaning staff. I couldn't talk because my jaw was wired shut iirc. I'm pretty sure I died from a fever. I forgot if I woke up around the same time the hell started or at the beginning of the day but things happened the same, except I didn't die.
>>42996226if you hopped a timeline then why did you have so many fat clothes in your closet?
>>42996141were you in gate after?
>>42996230>>42998146oh, spose i shoulda read the thread, quantum immortality (solipistic worldhopping is a better terse imo) is the highest fidelity eschatology, you gleaned this intuitively early, seeing though the veil of maya changes you.
>>42997856lol, why are you even on x?it was actually school picture day, but if you family didnt come from a 4 seasons country and if you were in the program after 2001 you wernt actually in gate - see if you take silver nitrate crystals in a substrate of boiled bones (conventional film) and expose it to the light of a magnesium phosphate flash and then developed the film with lensed moon light only the photograph will show ones inner light instead of ones visage. the stargate program was looking to incorporate 7 millennial reincarnations exactly - way to fail it
>>42996141WTF?Word by word my experience when I was 6-7 y.o. - but I'm from the Baltics, but the exact senses and feelings when I was drowning are pretty spot on.It was a 2-2.5 meters deep open air pool in our uncle's house, which we visited like once per year. Interesting that after that, I became very timid and very quiet, which I found from my grandparents. Even right now, I don't really socialize much, as job/carrier is more importnat and expecially RF/Scalar/ayy-lmaos require really technical deep dive into the Radio/phyics/chemistry and I try to read as much as I can nowadays. Do I know you?
>>42998377Idk if its related but might be something like the mammalian diving reflex where the body enters an unconscious or meditative state. Thats different from drowning tho.
>>42997626maybe, i suddenly snapped... or i guess came to? still in the water, just bobbing. the pain of the water inhalation was gone too, and if youve felt that sort of pain, it takes time to clear. it makes no sense that i was pain free suddenly>>42997726mhm, i also stay away from pools now. the trauma is there, ive never gotten trauma from a dream>>42997916>>42997920thank you, some of these are kinda similarish, i wouldnt know where to begin to find such sites >>42998152>highest fidelity eschatology>mayacan you elaborate more about this..?>>42998377i dont know you, no. im american, very far from the baltics and ive never met someone with the same experiencei also became more timid and reclusive after, much more fearful person i think.
>>42997726>But my family swears that never happenedIt doesn't prove that it didn't happen. My family swear I never was hospitalized because of peritonitis as a toddler, and it doesn't appear anywhere in my medical files, yet I perfectly remember my time in hospital and I have the scar of the surgery on the bottom right of my stomach. There were also pets we had that nobody remembers except me.You probably really almost drown and your family just forgot.
>>42996141I actually...got something similar. it's weird and it happened quite recently for me. 5 years ago I coughing up mucus. I had a terrible stomach pain. While I laying on my bed in pain I saw this white light appear and it got brighter and brighter and then I appear back in my bed without pain in my stomach and was all fine. It was so vivid where I can't think that it was a dream it was so real man.
>>42999222My mother has some eidetic memory and is able to remember things from where she was a baby and from before she was 3 years old, which apparently is impossible as the mechanisms haven't been developed yet, and yet, she remembers her entire childhood accurately, so just forgetting about it is ruled out. Also, what pool? This happened before I was 4, and we didn't have access to any pool until I was 5, we went to the sea before going to any pool and I already had the trauma. She could tell you where I was at any point in my childhood life.Memories from a previous life matches on, I mean, apparently it's common in males to remember how they died in a previous life, specially if it's an abnormal circumstance (like me being a drowning child.)
>>42996226you know i had a big overdose on Lormitazepam when i was younger, and i felt i had a massive personality shiftit could be brain damage but i felt like i died and shifted in a different reality and i still live in it todaythings are all the same, my memories etc but the body i inhabit radically shifted, i remember some childhood stuff but the anxious depressed mess i was before the OD is a world of differencein the span of 2 months after going through psychward etc i made more friends, started working out, going outside etc, i was still doing awful but it was such a positive shift it was strange
>>42999960>able to remember things from where she was a baby and from before she was 3 years old, which apparently is impossiblehow stupid, who the fuck says that? muh science? if you can't remember things from before 3-4 you're either really, really dumb or mom was drinking while preggo>she remembers her entire childhood accuratelyisn't this normal? why would anyone with a functioning brain NOT be able to recall those years and you gotta have superhuman memory power to? wow...it's looking more and more like NPC theory is literally true
>>42996230>apparently one of the requirements is that you have a near drowning experience in childhood.Where did you get that from? Also sorry that happened to you man wtf
>>42996141One time in highschool I tried to exhaust myself to death; I drank 4 cups of coffee, didn't eat or drink anything else, wore an overshirt and a t-shirt and jeans, and then I rode a bike for some 2 miles downhill and 2 miles uphill. I was very fat and unable to make the journey adequately. At about the 3 and a half mile mark I collapsed due to exhaustion and dehydration (even though someone gave me a gatorade and another gave me a baloney sandwich). I started to close my eyes as I "whited out", which has happened before when I would try to overheat myself to die. After I whited out, I woke up where I had collapsed about 4-8 hours later, when it was beginning to be sunset (I left just before noon). I didn't realize it at the time, but the horse that chuffed to wake me up was the emaciated horse that I had seen coming back from highschool time and time again, but healthy and bored. I regarded the horse with a smile, and sat up. One of the people who lived on the side of the road came out and asked if I needed anything, and I asked for a glass of water. I drank it and then the weirdest thing happened: my mother, who usually couldn't begin to care about my wellbeing, shows up miraculously next to me on her way home from an at-whim shopping trip, offering to give me a ride back home. She's none the wiser to my suicide attempt and I shoo her away and finish the rest of the bikeride back home on foot. My legs were jello at the time, and I was very exhausted. I think God saved my life that day.
>>43000410Apparently, in this reality remembering your childhood is a superpower and almost nobody remembers what they did when they were 1 or 2 years old:https://www.medscinet.com/bvcelvis/3-arsbesoket.aspx?pageid=5&lang=2If you do, you're rare.
>>42998403>>mayathe illusion of death, you died, and yet you live
