Are Satan and Lucifer the same? What's the difference?

The name of the Bible’s Satan is never disclosed, although jews call him Samael. Lucifer on the other hand is never mentioned in the Bible aside from Isaiah when Lucifer is used to comparatively describe the king of Babylon and his fall, “bright as the morning star”. In other words, there’s no fallen angel in the Bible that holds the title of Lucifer. Ironically enough the closest appearance is in Revelation when Jesus refers to himself as morning star.

Lucifer is used one time in the Bible to refer to venus. It never meant the devil or Satan or anything
