Has anyone done Free Flow Journey in Focus 21? The visuals are the most intense I've ever seen. I can't even imagine what this would be like on LSD or shrooms. Any experiences?
>>43012068I still don't know how to do focus 10
>>43012068Is free flow better than Honeycutt and Laurie? I get nothing out of their tapes compared to the OG ones.
>>43012068I have only done focus 15 and skipped wave 4 entirely because it didnt sound interesting to me. Focus 15 is kinda cool though, maybe i should continue practicing and go further.Since you mentioned LSD, the dirst time I did focus 15 was 1-2hours into a trip. Haven't tried it under the influence since but it was kinda cool.
>>43012068I didn't go that far but I had visual hallucinations when I started to do the tapes one year ago, I could also easily feel away from my body. Then it stopped. Then I paused for six months. I started doing the tapes again over a month ago but so far no visual hallucination and I struggle to feel away from my body. I don't know why it worked so well at first then not anymore. :\How would you describe the different focus? How do they feel to you?
omg i havent feed my energy conversion box in months
>>43012068yeah
>>43012905Pretty much the same thing happened to me. Visualizations are a bit tied to the novelty of the experience. I've "seen" things that brought tears to my eyes, stopped seeing them until I moved to focus 21 but it was not as vivid as before. Do not try to force yourself into seeing things. It is distracting. You get insights, a "knowing" of sorts as the booklets explain. Do you get sensations of buzzing/tingling/weightlessness? They are more available to me, although chasing them and checking for their presence would also be distracting.
>>43014104>sensations of weightlessnessYes. Typically, at the beginning I feel like a slow vibration passing through my body. Then once my body falls asleep I feel like there is no gravity anymore and I am slowly rotating in an empty space. For I am not sure what the different focus are supposed to feel like, I consider this focus 10. When I feel really away from the room, I consider it focus 12. I may be wrong.Tingling, no. I am not sure what buzzing means.A year ago, when I often had visual hallucinations, for focus 12 I often felt like floating up through the ceiling and to the sky, I would reach above the clouds and talk to the magical star I believed in when I was a toddler. It sounds really stupid but it was an amazing experience. Then I would travel to space and see amazing things, extraterrestrial planets, weird jungles, sometimes I met weird creatures. I miss these hallucinations. I hope they'll be back at some point.
>>43017216Drifting to sleep in a very tired state tends to induce hypnagogia, also when waking up. Lucid dreamers and OBE enjoyers deliberately use these instances to achieve their experiences. I drifted off mid-day after studying and some stress and got vivid, mostly coherent visions
>>43012905same. when i started with the tapes, i got twice the vibrations that i later heard are what happens just before OOBE but i got too scared and it ended. Cant even get close now.
>>43012068Funny that this thread was made. I haven’t reached Focus 21 but have been doing the Focus 10 tapes for a couple of weeks (Currently exploring Free Flow 10). Wanted to share my experience and advice with anons and lurkers. - Visuals are rare for me. When they do happen its amorphous shapes and faces. One that I particularly remember is seeing this self-feeding totally black flower. Similar to picrel. - Memory chains. Instead of visuals I get strong memory chain rabbit holes. I start with remembering the day, the week, and then my mind wanders to childhood or specific people - it’s unpredictable where it goes. - Write stuff down. I always write a short “trip report”. It’s interesting to see how those days Gateway experience relates to the overall day. - Feeling tired/refreshed. This one is unpredictable. Sometimes I’ll feel totally refreshed almost like I took a nap and other times I’ll feel drained. I do recommend that you get to the end of the tapes because Monroe does guide you to come back to the world. - Flukes/Experimentation. Some days just aren’t good. I also recommend taking breaks - I usually don’t do them on the weekends. I do one tape a day. I’ve recently been experimenting with environment i.e. times of day, physical positions, rooms, but I think this depends on the person and schedule. - Sleeping/dreams. It has messed up my sleep schedule a little bit. It’s hard to fall asleep because you feel like you’re doing a tape. Dreams in general are also a lot more vivid. - Awareness. I had this recent experience recently where I had become “aware” of the present. Taking in all the five senses and then realizing that I’ll think about that present (now past) in the future, while doing the tapes. Funny little time paradox. (1/2)
>>43018158 - Sickness. I’ll sometimes get a little nausea but it usually passes. - Falling. I’ll sometimes get this feeling of “falling” and coming back to consciences. I think it’s the hypnagogia thing one anon was talking about. - Prayer/Mantra. I don’t like the “to control” part of the mantra which Monroe says. I usually don’t say it. I’m a lot more passive about the whole experience. I also will sometimes pray to God to give me protection and guidance. - Weirdness. All of it is very weird and you have to be comfortable with it. I wish it was cool distinct hallucinations! Its like the thing Jung was doing with the “digging”, and I enjoy the structure of Monroe.Overall, I get a lot out of it. Once your “reality” melts away, I think there is nothing to do but to be kinder to others. But if you have problems, you’ll be forced to confront them. Its also great tool for studying alongside with other esoteric subjects. Safe travels anons! (2/2)
