Looking for advice or feedback to make some sense out of this. during the late 90s-early 2000s my school had some strange program where they taught us how to run a cash register and order fast food. once a week or so, we would have a special day where we would go to a separate building, and we would use McDonald’s play sets like the one in the picture here and we would be there for about a half hour. It was better than doing math so I didn’t mind it for the most part.we would split up into pairs where one person would be the customer moving the hotwheels car and using construction paper to mimic money, and the other person would be operating the drive through. Our teacher would patrol around the aisles and take notes on her clipboard and correct us if we made a mistake. I didn’t understand what the point of any of this was. The teacher took it really seriously so eventually it stopped being as fun.Every so often real McDonald’s employees would visit and they would train us. if we did really well they would give us McDonald’s coupons, so most of us ended up going to McDonald’s a few times a week to get free food. There was this one guy in the class who was really good at it, and one day the McDonald’s workers started talking to him. He signed some piece of paper and then he walked out of the building and we never saw him again in any of our classes. that part has always bothered me the most. What happened to him?Eventually they stopped the program after a couple years, but as I got older I’ve wondered why they made us do all of that? In college I’ve asked people if their schools did anything like that, but the answer has always been no. Which is why I’m asking you guys, why the fuck did they make us do that? What happened to that guy from class who I never saw again? Am I weird for finding this so weird?
OP went to hamburger university.
Did you go to a special school? There was a black girl who would spend a half day at our normal public school and then go to her special school where they had a replica supermarket and train you to use the cash register and shit. When she told me she had a grocery store in her school I thought she was joking but I looked it up and it was a real thing that they do.
>>43012186it's because they knew most of your generation were never gonna do better in life than working a McJob
>OP is literally retarded Kek
>>43012186Funny as fuck to me that I saw your post in a thread going on about "everyone remember how they made us do this?" and no one responded and now you are making a whole thread to ask about it.You went to a shit school with no idea how to educate so they just made you play cashier with a Fischer Price toy for babies.Deal with it.
maybe the origin story of 3 for free will return
>>43012186I think youre extrapolating with a lot of imagination the segment of elementary math where they give you fake coins and a cash sorting box to learn denominations
>>43015127Oh shit, you're right! We now know the origin story of three-for-free. That faggot motherfucker.
MKUltra children grew monarch butterflies in school.CORM (Children of Ronald McDonald) children played with McDonald's play sets. This is an even more secret project than MKUltra and I'm probably going to end up dead for even mentioning it.
>>43012186actually gonna seriouspost. years back there was this youtube mcburger reviewer, "joey's world tour". his full name, all 3 names, matched up with those of a sex offender who was about his age. bad luck to share a full name like that.joey would act weird and do weird little... gestures or something for no reason (and other guys do that too, and show other signs that something was done to them that fucked em up bad...), and *frequently* wore mickey mouse ears. he also has a face like a camel.i only saw thumbnails and short clips of his vids, the content would just be trying borgerz and reading off a list of fans to shoutout to, but overall he had weird mkultra vibes.no joke, being serious, something about joey's world tour just had major vibes of "something really bad happened to this guy as a kid", and the mickey ear hat and his weird quirky tics and things... something happened to that guy when he was a kid, and he probably can't access those memories. he might have major amnesia. maybe even false memories.
>>43012186I don’t this thread went the way you planned.
I also went to McDonald's school it was lit and we got free nuggets

>>43012186McDonalds runs a similar program for thirdies today, where they donate shit to schools through charity groups and in exchange the schools train their students to be McDonalds employees instead of giving them a proper education. It's called the "Passport to Success Initiative". I don't think they run that scam in the first world today but maybe they did places in the '90s?
