I wouldn't say you feel neglected per se, but you feel they have been unfair or that you have to pressure too much to get their attention. As for what "you should hear" to get a better picture of me - this year in particular so far has been pretty crazy for me. The first four months I was wrestling with severe paralysing depression and panic attacks, hitting rock bottom more or less and being put on xanax, SSRIs and zopiclone only using the latter for a while. Things calmed down a bit and on Easter Day I reconnected with an old female acquaintance of mine developing a very, very intense and intimate friendship teetering on the brink of being romantic or sexual. You would have success with acrylic although you'd wait longer to see the results. Avoid oil. Watercolor is your best bet! I don't know much about painting as I'm extremely amateur myself on the subject, but watercolors have to set in the light for a while right? I believe that is the method the scry pointed to!

in general, most rely on the hermetic qabalah for their underlying meaning (waite, thoth). if you learn that then you can apply that to any deck and throw in their symbolism for flavor. there are some decks that use their own system in which case you would have to learn something new. usually decks are copying waite or thoth so you can apply those meanings easily.
