The thing is just some alternate reality roleplaying strategy game being played by a bunch of old nerds. The ads convey informational updates on strategy, movements, and tactics. High IQ, yes, but still just a kind of larp, not some secret society in the sense of the Freemasons or the Rosicrucians.
