Sup, anons, It's the middle of the night here and I can't sleep, so I would like to distract my mind with a good discussion, so, what do you anons believe happens after death ??? Do you believe that your consciousness ceases to exist for all eternity, or is there still some form of consciousness after that ??? If so, what would it be like ???
>>43019274You get whatever "you want"The issue is you might want dumb things, maybe you think you have no control of what you want, or perhaps you might think you can't have what you want and instead deserve some kind of punishment. Maybe you've let ideas of what is the "right" thing to do dictate what you want rather then just you. Perhaps certain religious ideas seem right to you and are inescapable/unavoidable/desirable. Maybe you're still focused on this world and want to do more of it, maybe you're so furious about having been here your not thinking clearly. You also can no longer take advantage of your body to conveniently forget or push away memories or ideas you find unpleasant. Maybe you want your own story and control, maybe you want something premade to enjoy. And of coarse are deciding this "want" whilst undergoing a transition away from the physical which might be a bit jarring. Its still 100% all just what you want, but that want is influenced by a lot of things, sometimes to a degree that it barely even feels like it was you that wanted it, but it is. You already are the conscious form that will still be you after death and always have, physical existence is just a bunch of temporary limitations to strengthen certain other ideas and focuses. Death is just a loss of a body, not any real part of you.Source: I intuitively know this as a fact and don't understand why others don't
>>43019274'Afterlife' is a cope. Death comes for us all, if you like life then live it. You only get one.
>>43019274You don’t get to experience it whatever it may be. You as a self exist as a subjectively experiencing mortal. All of these concepts rely on différance to define. Your self likewise relies on différance to conceptualize. The most important thing to remember is that whatever you think of to be your self will not be what experiences an afterlife if one exists. Even if that thing has access to the memories of your life, it will not be what you consider to be your self. It will be something entirely different. Even if it believes what you think of as your self is its self, it won’t be. Your self will end upon your death, whatever death may be or entail, and what comes after will not be relevant to said thoughts of what your self is.
>>43019274You get folded back into the "One". The supreme conscious that binds everything together. Of which you are a shard of, teethered to it like an umbilical cord. You will stop being you. But your conscious, your memories, ideas and lessons get merged back into it. Everyone you know, and every animal and object, whatever level of consciousness they have gets absorbed back. And new sharda are created with some of your reabsorbed consciousness (hence deja Vu, remembering last lives, etc). This universe is a simulation for the "One". And the universe before it, and the universes after it.

I don't know, and frankly, I genuanly don't care.
>>43019274I have decided in all my life experience that there can't be an afterlife and I wouldn't accept one anyways. I hate creation.
>>43019274The data that conforms your ego (soul) stops being localized and it dissolves in some sort of noospheric environment. There’s also the possibility the data survives that transition because the person prepped for it, most people should just dissolve though. That’s what i believe.
>>43019274what do i know, nigga? come back and ask again in 100 years when im dead and i'll tell ya
"I give unimaginable joys on earth: certainty, not faith, while in life, upon death; peace unutterable, rest, ecstasy; nor do I demand aught in sacrifice." from Liber ALI don't think we can even get a glimpse of what it could be; but, for the occultist, it can't be anything remotely bad.
