So I feel like I've exhausted a lot of horror content and I have become quite desensitized to terrible things. Here's the things I've already explored to a very complete extent that produces a lot of fear in the uninitiated: >Paranormal le ghost/phantasms/whatever stuff>Demonic stuff>Lovecraftian horror>SCP stuff>Uncanny stuff like backrooms, analogue whatever, unsettling images like you people used to post>Black Souls-esque dream-like nonsensical horror >Surrealism >Rape, gore, gross-out horror >Delirium hallucination horrors>Psychadelics and other forms of drug induced shit like Salvia or DMT. So I know there could be more extreme stuff that I haven't explored yet like entering the insanity of the unconcious through hardcore mediation or exploring the fae, like the myths of old. What are some other truly scary shit that you can't grow much tolerance? I know pain/torture is one of them, but that's unrefined and gay.

So Advanced Vision Control and its forms of willful hallucinations. Playing with Tulpas can really fuck with your psyche though, it's like playing with fire.

>>43022473I don't really get the hostility, I've experienced every single one of those things. I've actually seen ghosts multiple times when I was a child because I used to live in a mansion. Granted, ghosts did used to scare me a lot but I've grown so desensitized I can chill with ghosts and be like "hey nigga don't be doing retarded shit like moving things or I will beat the shit out of you". Demons are close to ghosts in their method of action, they're just more about contracts and stupid shit like that. I hate demons and I have killed a few. Anyways, I think the worst of horrors really stems from lack of control in what you can't even see or experience. So delirium highs like DPH or Datura can truly bring you to messed up levels of horror, but they still have patterns, mainly gross out stuff like spider and bugs. That's also when the shadow people look visible to you because you're in a really low frequency. I know about a lot of aspects of horror, I want to explore it because I want to know how to conquer it. That's all.
