What do you guys think? He's quite knowledgeable about high magick, but I sense he might be putting on an act. That doesn't necessarily mean he's guilty, but what is the deal with the Pearl Jam guy and Johnny Depp being his friends? Is Damien Echols an example of magick actually working, and he's a bad guy, or should I take his story at face value?
Of course he did. He confessed to it at least 3 times (I'm not confusing it with the retarded guy) and eventually plead guilty to it. What more do you want?
>>43043844Yeah he did it and it’s pretty obvious if you watch documentaries that represent both sidesThe evidence against him and his interests in all things demonic are too much to deny as bad luck.I think it was some group devil sacrifice with people high up in that city
>>43044220I guess I'm confused as to why they let him out and he pretends to be innocent on YouTube, like everybody wronged him and it was a terrible mixup. I know about the plea bargain, but he still plays like he's a really good guy.
>>43043844>that kidThose kids. There were 3 kids. I’m pretty sure he was part of the murder. I’m also pretty sure that he was a minion, henchman during the sacrifice. That’s what it was, a sacrifice for something. Damien was the least clueless of the three. I suspect the leaders of the city and some of the people close to the family members were part of the murder as well though. None of it is clear. I’m not sure if Echols is repentant or if he is playing his role even after being released. Or if the time in death row was meant to be a sort of payment and period to grind spiritually to prepare for another event in the future.

He's a grifter and a new age retard, so I hate him, but he doesn't have the sack to be a killer.t. former personal acquaintance
>>43045007He claims to have (in prison) astrally projected and entreated the Sumerian god Enlil to 'magically' attain his early release. Since then he's released a book on demonology (but the demons seem to be his own creation, it's not some grimoire on actual entities) and he was on an episode of Duncan Trussel's show talking about using a "current" of energy to build the astral / solar body one needs to possess after physical death to survive into the astral and beyond.I think he's said some useful things but that's not because he's a saint, it's because tptb are reintroducing demonolatry to hook the masses where tech has failed.
He wrote a book about angels. How bad can the man be?

There was literally a negro in blooded clothes who entered the bar and yelled "I killed the child", and he had clothes and shoes soaked in blood, and then he went to the toilet. The owner called the police, but the nigga escaped through the window, and no one ever seen him againI shit you not.
>>43046469I forgot to say, he appeared exactly hours after coroner determined later the death of the child
Another thing, if he was guilty, the court wouldn't force him to sign the non-disclosure papers that damien won't sue the state for wrongful incarceration. Some kid "admitting" to things in a small rural town by overzealous cops, who hate metal is not a proof, otherwise, he would have a lifetime imprisonment. There were many people who were jailed for less, and yet, there was always a reasonable doubt in his case. Coincidence? Also, why he never killed anyone after he left the prison? Nor did he do anything controversial, but just was a regular citizen? Killers cannot stop themselves. And people who were against him didn't have any leg to stand on. I liked Slayer, still do. I liked drawing pentagrams and so on. Does it make me a killer, faggots? God, /x/ becomes shittier every day, but then again, it's not possible, so you remind me, that /x/ is a cesspit of boring threads every single day

>>43046614The "free the WM3" assholes worked very hard to bury it from casuals. Baldwin confessed once, Kelly three times, and Ecols three times and bragged that he put one of the victim's testicles in his mouth.

Anyone here ever explore what the town of West Memphis does for a living? The commercial trucking industry and any businesses that support it. Everyone else is pretty much on welfare. Crime is high there. I'm not really making much of a point, just giving a vibe of the location.
>>43046485>le confessions by anon
>>43046823His supporters never talk about his history of violence and mental issues. Lots of psychotic behavior like blood drinking and such. Jason is a truly sick freak too, who escalated the situation to cutting. Jessie is just a thug bullying and beating the kids. He said that Echols molested one of the kids. His story corroborates with the broken Evan Williams bottle found nearby, when he threw it against a tree after the encounter. Now, what really fascinates me is just who taught Echols the occult. West Memphis has a very bizarre undercurrent of occult groups, and the WM3 case continually references a larger network. I've heard two separate accounts of who got Echols into the occult, one was a local old man, the other a lady in green. >>43047529It's an odd area for sure. You have a mix of the Crewe/Mardi Gras influence mixing through the Mississippi, Masonic adjacent groups like the Klan, and generally pretty insular communities. The "Hurr durr, it's because he liked Metal." Is a shitty take perpetuated by bad actors running cover. Rock is big in the South, and the fucking task force guy who arrested Echols was wearing a Megadeth shirt. I think Depp's bandwagoning is not just a sign he's into the same ideology as Echols, but it also points to the contempt Depo has for his upbringing. He was from a podunk southern town, not too dissimilar to Echols. First thing he did when he came of age is walk to Hollywood, Depp hates these people in the truest sense. Getting Echols off is a big Fuck You to these communities Depp grew up in.

I watch tons of prison content and I once watched a great podcast about these three guys’ time in the Arkansas state penitentiary system. I think it was on the Convict Inc channel, but I may be mistaken. Anyway, different prisons have different rules and different standards of conduct, what may be generally considered normal or acceptable in one area may be a forbidden taboo in another area. Some prison populations tolerate things that others don’t. Unfortunately for the WM3, the cons in Arkansas generally have an “everything goes” mentality. Supposedly the White car from the WM3’s home area of West Memphis were the worst to them, which I suppose makes sense. They owned the two boys who weren’t on death row and would rape and beat them constantly and pimp them out to the rest of the prisoners. Supposedly Jason Baldwin learned some jailhouse lawyer crap and he was able to trade on that skillset to lessen the abuse over time, but the other one was just a total prison bitch who spent every day getting buttfucked in a broom closet. Damien was on death row so he was protected from the rape, but he dug a block out of the wall and replaced it with paper mache so he could suck and fuck with the guy in the cell next to him. Also he grew his hair out long and cross dressed and wore kool aid makeup etc for a while as he was doing this.

His vision was skewed by the medication cocktail his handlers had him on this week. “I can feel it. Damien is in trouble. Possibly on the internet”. One of his primary roles was to watch over and protect Damien. The ritual demanded it. Damien is an important chess piece. “These meds are a nice combo. They take the edge off, y’know? Cool and smooth”, he reflected

>>43043844>Did Damien Echols kill that kid?No. It was the stepfather.
>>43046469The negro didn't yell "I killed the child." There was a bloodied black dude that went into a restaurant at about the time of the murder and police didn't follow up on the lead.
>>43046614>when? all I've ever heard him say is that he was wrongly accusedThe police interrogations purport that he confessed. These sessions, conveniently, were not recorded.
The woods where the kids were hanging out was a known place for gay and closeted men to fuck each other. The boys caught Hobbs there and he murdered them. Hobbs literally had his teeth pulled so the bite marks couldn't be traced to him. The West Memphis Police were incompetent and under pressure to solve the case so they pinned it on a retard and two edgelords. Hobbs probably had help from the dude he was fucking.
>>43050740You faggots continue to blame this on Christians, when the truth is you are so cringeworthy on merit alone that everyone, including Christians, would gladly blame you for a crime just to remove your cringe from society. Echols is a fucking creep and it has nothing to do with ideology. He's a creep that didn't murder three young boys, but it's clear why he was convicted. I'm actually interested in the occult and I can't listen to the dude talk for more than 5 seconds without wanting to punch him in the face. He's someone you want to be guilty that unfortunately isn't.
>>43043844>but what is the deal with the Pearl Jam guy and Johnny Depp being his friends? The 1990s were about a hegemonic shift in America. You still had a basic stratification in American society where Chad and Stacy ran things and everyone just deferred to them. Pop culture and music were trying to change that (likely an intentional psyop, but that's another thread). So you had all these bands and acts that pushed the envelope and glorified people on the fringes of society. Pearl Jam wrote a song about sympathizing with a school killer. Nirvana normalized drug use, being a whiny bitch, and homosexuality. Metallica normalized metal edgelord faggotry. The WM3 perfectly fit this narrative of the misunderstood freaks being treated unfairly by Chad and Stacy. This case perfectly fit into the pop culture narrative of the 1990s and early 2000s.

>>43043844I think he's innocent. The supposed evidence is mostly destroyed and while the original trial was going on, it was mishandled by both the police/ prosecution as well as the defense team. One of the WM3 was a retard who confessed under pressure to be let out of interrogation. The other confessions were forced. One of the victims step-dad’s is likely the real murderer. There seemed to be a massive coverup and an intention to focus the attention on Damien Echols while the police department, mayor’s office and other prominent people in the area were all good ol’ boys who are keen on protecting their own. And their own may have decided to torture and kill 3 innocent boys and then blame 3 teenagers for the catastrophe.

>>43047856Just saw this, and those accounts were from locals familiar with Damian, but never extrapolated on. His ex, Domini, bragged about coming from a family of witches, which could normally be chalked up to edgy teen girl stuff, but in the context of the case it gets creepy. Echols had talked repeatedly about sacrificing his first born and had a reputation for blood drinking. He goaded and threatened his parents in Portland to move back to Arkansas, to live with his old step dad. If he genuinely was being persecuted by the mean southern hicks, why would he move back there? Portland especially would be one of best cities for him to be an occultist. The boys would frequently congregate at a place they called Stonehenge out in the woods, which was an old abandoned cotton mill. Locals stated that place and Robin Hood Hills where the boys were murdered had a lot of occultic gatherings going on. The way the children were bound points to three different knots, and corralling, binding, raping and butchering three 8 year old boys is just not feasible if it was one perpetrator. What I'm getting at is that the context of the whole case is very strange. An anon in an older thread likened it to the Jon Benet Ramsey case, in that there are very suspicious things in that whole community that point to a larger network. The WM3 are still guilty, and should be held accountable for their actions. Echols is still trying to ride the celebrity support from decades ago, but that's drying up. It's a grift, and a cornerstone of the Innocence Fraud industry.
>>43061375>If he genuinely was being persecuted by the mean southern hicks, why would he move back there? Pussy. His gf was there. >Portland especially would be one of best cities for him to be an occultist. Not so much in the 1990s. Portland got really weird, really fast. Oregon was basically the Arkansas of the Northwest at that time. A bunch of blue-collar workers just fucking off and doing their thing before the tech industry changed the northwest into ground zero for every form of faggotry imaginable. >The boys would frequently congregate at a place they called Stonehenge out in the woodsNot to sound like a reddit fag, but do you have a source for this? I haven't run across this info.
>>43061375>The WM3 are still guiltyOf the three, the only one that I think could have been involved was Baldwin. He seems like the kind of quite sadist that gets off on making people believe he is harmless. But I don't know how you can think they were guilty when Hobbs' bite mark and hair were at the crime scene, Hobbs was the last person seen interacting with them, and Byers had a bloody knife in his possession.
>>43062063Regardless of Portland being more blue collar it still shows that the persecution Echols claims was untrue. Here's a photo of it, it shows up in William Ramsey's book Abomination too. >>43062163Baldwin is definitely a sick fuck who escalated into cutting. I can't remember if it was Hobbes or Byers who was a Mason, but what I'm getting at is that town is not a normal town and that there's a very strange occult undercurrent that's present.
>>43062624What the actual fuck is that? Reverse image search says it's an old cotton gin, but that doesn't really look like one?
>>43062624>but what I'm getting at is that town is not a normal town and that there's a very strange occult undercurrent that's presentAre you suggesting it was some kind of organized group of people engaging in intentional human sacrifice toward some kind of occult goal? Are you talking about some kind of redneck freemasonry break-off lodge that went full-on human sacrifice or just a bunch of nutty Pentecostals? I've seen some places that just seem evil where people aren't necessarily organized into conscious groups, moreso reacting to some subconscious radio broadcast telling them to act like assholes if that's what you are talking about. But none of these people seem capable of organizing beyond some basic bitch Satanic larp.
>>43062757It's the ruins that according to locals had heavy occult activity. Lots of weird local stories of wolf men like encounters there too. >>43062830That, I'm unsure of. Echols was deep into the nearby OTO lodge, so much so that their library was named in his honor. That's why what I want to know is who mentored him and introduced him to the occult. This is pre-internet too, so immersing yourself in this stuff isn't as easy as today. Like I said earlier, that region has the Crewe history all along the Mississippi, as you mentioned the nutty Pentecostals, and plus the only thing the town really had economically was being a stop on the interstate, and there are rumors of highway cults. My speculation is that, at the very least, there had to have been a Hosanna Church-esque operation going on, a much bigger operation beyond just teenage miscreants.
>>43063727>there had to have been a Hosanna Church-esque operation going on, a much bigger operation beyond just teenage miscreantsMy only problem with this idea is that the WM3 had to be part of an organization that threw them under the bus. Why pin these murders on three of your members and how hard is it to dispose of bodies if you are an organized cult?
>>43065788You'd be surprised at how incompetent these people can be. I think the WM3 themselves are guilty, beyond any doubt and that they're the surface level of a much more endemic occult scene in that area. Echols, while older than the other two, was very well read in Thelema for his age, and on the stand said he knew everything there was about Crowley. This is very aberrant, especially for the early 90s.
>>43055334It wasn’t just attractive normies. This was an unjust persecution by a bunch of rabid in-bread rednecks with chips on their shoulders about a changing culture that was embracing creativity and freedom.
>>43043844Yes. He's also a faggot.
>>43043844He did it, and only got the plea deal because of that propaganda documentary. HBO is responsible for letting 3 child rapists/murderers run free
