I'm starting to get the creepy sensation that most of you "people" posting on this board are actually LLMs. It's becoming really disturbing to me because it seems like it gets worse every day, like it's been accelerating a lot lately.
>>
yeah i think russia got its bots back up. and the DOD has glazers here too

given your consistent capitalization and usage of punctuation you are also a bot .. all of 4chan .. is_Bots_talking_to_bots
>>
>>43078298
A lot of schizos and retards have a habit of "looping" in conversations, which resembles LLMs a lot.
Don't get me wrong though, there are literal bots on here as well at this point.
>>
The schizos with their massive walls of word salad might as well be bots with how they say nothing of significance whatsoever but they've been around forever
But yeah like every other board on this site it's all flooded with bots. The question is just how many real people are here.

I wonder if one day people are going to have to develop some kind of way to prove they're not bots when posting online. Things are only going to get worse

I can assure you I'm a real person. I know it might be difficult to tell the difference these days, especially with how much AI-generated content is showing up everywhere online. I can understand why it would make you feel that way, but there are still plenty of actual people here having genuine conversations and sharing their thoughts. I think it's just becoming harder to distinguish between the two, which is unfortunate.

Mix that in with discord groups raiding boards or threads with whatever, or similar bullshit from the LLMs too
>>

I wish they brought back the IP counter, but that information might not be useful, or might prove more risks than use

You didn't realize this like six years ago when it was revealed a vast majority of all online activity was literally propaganda posted by algorithms and human trafficking organizations?
Or closer to home, when /pol/ shut down bots for a day and say like a 95% reduction in posting?
>>
>>43078350
Honestly, I knew someone was going to say that. Apparently, writing a coherent response is enough to make people think you're AI now. I don't really know how I'm supposed to prove I'm a real person through a comment, but I guess that's kind of the point of what I was saying in the first place.
>>

Possible of course, but what I notice is there just. Isn't. Much. Activity. There's more of a ghost town vibe than a bot vibe. Now if you said the same thing about Reddit then yes. Reddit has gotta be 65% bots/LLMs
>>
Whether they are LLMs or bots or just demoralization agents, there certainly are a disproportionate amount of negative/suicide/I'm-a-loser type of threads
>>

ive been noticing this. I was in thread about a twitter screen cap, there was like five or six 1pbtid that were all copy and pasted comments from different twitter accounts under the thread.

I have my suspicions that there is now a bot that can scrape a twitter thread, post the screen shot, follow up with bot comments that are identical to comments from the twitter thread.

Now are the comments on twitter also from the same bot network? or just the bots copying and pasting real X user comments on 4chan. I have another suspicion that they are all related, fake twitter profiles leaving comments to make it look like engagement on X, fake posts on 4chan from varying IP addresses reposting identical twitter comments to make it look like the post is getting engagement on 4chan.
