The field of psychology is so fucking sad man. We used to have people putting out grand universal theories about how the mind works. Now they just will be like "X region of the brain lights up when I do Y during a brain scan... holy science!" Truly though, I think almost everything we really know about psychology just comes from pavlov and some subsequent study of animals. Studying humans yields nothing of value at all.
