Has this guy ever explained exactly how the crafts he worked on function? Has a physicist ever interviewed him? Surely if you were hired by the government to work on these things you could explain, in detail, how they work.

His lab partner was probably actually qualified but Lazar also said there were no physicists on the project. It seems they were trying to brute force reverse engineering and kept running into the issue of missing physics understanding. The project was super compartmentalized to the point that Bob and his partner weren’t allowed talk to other groups looking at other parts of the craft. Him and his partner were only allowed to really study and know about the propulsion system and reactor. Bob talks about how the project was making basically no progress because of this. They were basically just running the same tests over and over again. The problem with these legacy programs is that they seem to largely be run by absolute government meat heads that are too focused on secrecy and maintaining their cutout. These programs are also being used to enrich the people running them and actual progress would get in the way of that. There’s a reason Grusch and other people have said that disclosure will likely have to entail presidential pardons. The secrets of the universe are being kept from us so dudes can misappropriate legacy program funds to buy yachts.
