wife and I made wreaths and decorated for Samhain last night. she invited our religious, protestant, white friends and a livestock hobby friend over for a seasonal celebration, food & fellowship on Oct 30th. Will serve single-bite-sized mutton pot pies, a charcuterie board of brie, ovine havarti, ovine cheddar, Bleu cheese, jalapeƱos, jam, brown mustard, sourdough, and 1 or 2 varieties of crackers. drinks will be wife ranging, as we make our own wine & have cellar full, brew our own beer & have mass market American Lager on hand, as well as a fully stocked liquor cabinet for classic cocktails (not sugar-laden "club drinks"). we will both dress in seasonal costumes for fun. she will be a Dryad & I will be a Druid.wife is not a "witch" and we are not pagans or astrology kooks. just farmers celebrating the astronomical, solar, planting, breeding and harvest seasonal calendar. sharing our harvest, goodwill, thanks, blessings and the hope for a healthy and productive next year.Colossians 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of a holy day, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath daysRomans 14:5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.
