If eating meat is evil then animals that need to eat meat are evil then flies and worms which decompose meat are evil then the existence of meat is evil and therefore the physical world is evil.
Eating meat isn't evil unless you are doing so with evil intent. Raising animals in cruel ways and slaughtering them painfully is evil.
