>>43145844Then I'll tell you what. You probably know this but in case you don't, you really are your Spirit. You are not your mind. The mind is not completely alien, but you shouldn't identify with it. I stopped thinking of myself as my mind, it really chances your level of awareness when you think of your mind as more of a scheming eunuch. He has his uses and can be wise, but you sometimes need to overpower it, so it follows your true will.
the shadow, in the jungian sense, is sacred. it is one's deepest connection to the true gods of this world, and thus one's own mastery of one's slice thereof. it doesn't matter how you frame your beliefs, it doesn't matter what scripture or spirits you utilize; to accept and even embody the shadow is to be blessed, to bury it and be unwilling to face it is the highest form of cowardice. it is how one graduates from being a lamb to being something greater. never forget thathttps://youtu.be/wfh8zlXmTFo

>>43145932Compromise. Again, it really helped me to think of the mind as a scheming advisor. The mind is a trickster, seeking comfort like an animal, when you try to change it will be your biggest enemy, but its not a cartoon villain or anything, its morals are alien to us. Another thread recently talked about this, but self-rememberance is the key. You are now already aware you are not your mind, and now every then and now, you will consciously focus on yourself, on every physical sensation, on your emotions, and on what your mind has been thinking about the last few moments.
>>43145954This is a good way to seperate your actual will from your mind and establish a boundary. I felt like I was becoming sentient for the first time in my life. Every moment before this felt like I was just an NPC on autopilot till then.
>>43145954>>43145961Then why do you need Jesus and Satan?
>>43145954>CompromiseNah, I won't. I will never betray myself, I will never allow other people to define how I act. I will do what I want, when I want, and the world can either deal with it or do away with me.
>>43145972Yukio Mishima put it best. It gets tiring to only live for yourself. You'll eventually yearn for a patron or some other higher purpose or calling, at least I found that to be true for me. I greatly respect Jesus. To me, he seems like the greatest man that ever lived. So why not give my service to him out of anyone. And I'll make sure to be the most satanic of his followers. I follow Christ while participating in SatanSatan will cease to exist because Satan means "adversary" and in the end we will simply meet him halfway so he ceases to be our adversary/satan.So I ask you to love your enemy. Do good to those who hate you. So you can be the son of your father.Christ is King. God bless Satan. In me the Lord found a willing servant.
>>43145987No, I mean compromise with your mind. Another anon put it better: >Some try forcing the mind to obey. That never works and when it does it always backfires. Some try ignoring the mind but that gives it more power, since it can act in the shadow (all Jungian shadows and archetypes are merely masks worn by the trickster).
>>43146016The only real problem I have with my mind is me being conscious of it. In fact, it's not my mind I have a problem with, but consciousness. I don't want to experience the mind, or the body, or the world, or anything else. I wish I was permanently unconscious.
I love you Jesus. You are based and needed.t. Satan
>>43146060if i may interject, i have some thoughts on this. i respect your self-worship, but know that the spirits can influence the mind. work with the spirits, and they will bend your mind, body, soul and even the world itself to your favor. give praise to demonic or hellenic spirits that represent things you want, and they will help youhttps://youtu.be/hRok6zPZKMA

>>43145883At this point my shadow is taking over my life. At one point I genuinely believed I was a good person and wanted the best for humanity, but as I embraced my shadow, I started having feelings and desires that I shouldn’t talk about, and I’ve come to realize these darker desires might be more fundamental than my good nature. Now I don’t really know who I am anymore. I care more about entertaining and satisfying myself than I do about being “good” or helping others. I have genuine compassion for animals and my family, but that’s about it. I genuinely do not give a fuck about other people and I wouldn’t care/don’t care if or when bad things happen to them. Maybe I never cared, and it was just ego; me wanting to feel superior to others as a “good” person, a moral agent looking down on others. I genuinely don’t give a fuck about right and wrong anymore, they’re just spooks to me. Do what you desire, what you can get away with, and fuck anyone that gets in your way. If they do the same, and infringe on your freedom and well being, so be it, that’s just the game. I believe in rights in the sense that I believe a society that provides rights provides benefits to me, and I support left wing politicians, because their policies are genuinely beneficial to me as a non-billionaire, but it’s all just selfishness. I don’t believe people have “objective rights” and I can poke holes in any of the arguments made in that respect. I just think that society shares certain values which leads to the implementation of certain rights which are beneficial to us. That benefit is the source of and the end goal itself. Arguments like “humans are an end unto themselves” are fundamentally nonsensical. Value does not exist in itself, it is a relationship between an object and an evaluator. Something cannot have worth unless it has value for some goal, otherwise the word “value” is meaningless. Like saying “it’s good because it’s good”
>>43146011If you get bored with your toys, just find new toys to play with, and people who enjoy the same toys that you do so that you can play with them. Yes humans are a fundamentally social species, but ultimately even socializing is done just to satisfy our own desires. We’re animals designed to socialize and reproduce, so we must socialize to be happy. If you have paternal or maternal instincts, get kids. Satisfy your urges, embrace your nature. At no point is a god necessary.
>>43146393i only have experience with Beelzebub in that regard, but i would consider looking into demons that represent things you're interested in and go from there>>43147099if you are having issues with the idea of being a misanthrope, consider applying ethics to your worldview. it doesn't have to come from a place of feeling whatsoever; in fact, ethics when applied this way are more about making things go your way more of the time. consider that anybody around you is technically capable of anything you are also capable of, barring things like disability. anything you do can and sometimes will be visited back upon you by those you encounter. i like to think of it as a social contract; carry that understanding by default, and if another person violates it then you are free to visit your darker aspects upon them as you feel is appropriate. i like to consider it the wild west approach to the shadow; anybody could be packing heat, but so are youhttps://youtu.be/xkFZn4oPMqE
>>43147130I think I generally do follow an ethical framework from a purely selfish perspective. I don’t do thinks or not based on whether it is “right” or “wrong,” I do it if it benefits me and I don’t if it doesn’t. I understand the social contract and the benefits it bestows upon me. I’ve always made arguments in the vein of practical material benefits, something like “you should do this because you’ll achieve this end” or “you should support this because it ultimately benefits you.” I guess I avoid making arguments like “you should do this because it’s the right thing to do” because I personally don’t think that way. I think humans are fundamentally self interested and so I appeal to that self interest and think it’s the best way to do politics, but maybe part of that is my inability to empathize with regular people. Maybe most people really do make decisions based on what is the “right” thing to do. Couldn’t be me, but nevertheless if that’s how people think then I guess I need to incorporate that into my persuasions and manipulations. Athena made me cold and calculating, or maybe she just brought out what I always was. It’s always good to talk to you, hope your relationship with beelzbub is fruitful, and if you’re into that sort of thing, I hope he leads you to doing what you feel is “right.” :3
>>43147148as always you prove very thoughtful and based in your modus operandi. i should clarify, i also don't believe in what is "right"; what is appropriate is itself a different thing. in place of what is "right", i consider things like social currency; if i want to be helpful or useful, i'm doing so because i know ultimately it may benefit me. it could be a means of building social standing, or a way to earn unspent favors, but it follows the same reasoning as the ethics i've already put forth; what you do, be it positive or negative, may come back to you one way or anotherBeelzebub leads me to do his bidding on this earth, as i have asked. i desire to serve his interests, as it gives me purpose, and means any boons i receive from him are towards that end. i also consider it worthwhile repayment for his generosity thus far, for i dare not take his gifts for granted
>>43147107But my true will isn't hedonism but instead transfiguration and transcendenceChristianity in its purest form is an apocalyptic death cult worshipping a Kalki-esque orphic demigod that will eventually declare war on humanity to wipe it out, and it includes themes such as the divine substance within humanity, the imprisonment of the dead, the transformation of flesh, and the restoration of a primordial heavenly kingdom. Can't get more Satanic than that. >Satan: The God of darkness, magic and transcendence. He urges people to go beyond or below the human condition, and this role as tempter and corrupter is well known to humanity. Few are the ones who know him in his transcendental role.
If the REAL Satan could make an appearance in this thread what would you ask him?
>>43147835how he feels about being blamed for a world that god designed to be so evil
>>43147099I could have written this, with the exception that I'm still looking for inherent value. People see it, so it must exist somewhere. I must be blind to it, otherwise I would see what makes a thing so valuable.
Bump
>>43145825who is on top left?
>>43150083Top left is Lucifer/Eosphoros/Hêlêl>Jehovah: The God of discipline and righteousness, he’s also a god of war. The holy wars come to my mind when thinking about the description of this god. His people are supposed to be very disciplined, ascetic and of high moral values.>Lucifer: The God of love and light, he’s a sensualist as well; according to the Process Church he’s the one responsible for creation of women. His people are passionate, life loving, generous and artistic. Sex is also under his purview as the ultimate act of love and life.>Satan: The God of darkness, magic and transcendence. He urges people to go beyond or below the human condition, and this role as tempter and corrupter is well known to humanity. Few are the ones who know him in his transcendental role.>Christ: He’s the emissary to the other Gods, he’s transcendental love, he was believed to come a second time in the end of times, when Jehovah and Satan declare war on humanity and destroy it, in the end Christ and Satan will unite as one being and pass judgment on humanity.
>>43147912>People see it, so it must exist somewherejust because people value things doesn’t mean they have objective value, it could just mean that they’re subjectively valuable to them. People value each other because human beings are valuable for a lot of things; love, companionship, work, entertainment, etc.I think it’s fundamentally biased and anthropocentric. We’re human beings, so of course we’d have the urge to consider ourselves objectively valuable. Think about the other creatures though, think of how many of them have gone extinct because of us, how many continue to go extinct because of us. To the rest of this earth, we’re a plague that only cares about itself, a super organism that absorbs everything around it and gives back nothing. Tell the mammoths that human life is objectively valuable, I think they’d disagree if they could. They can’t anymore, because our ancestors deemed our lives to be more valuable than theirs. It’s all arrogance, humans think they’re the center of the universe, the most important thing in the universe. Life exists in competition, you must choose which life you value, and there’s nothing objective about that decision.

>>43151113I'm more interested in inherent value - something that is valuable for itself, not something that's valuable for its usefulness.
>>43151175but like I’ve said before, that just removes all meaning from the word “value.” To be “valuable” is to add value to something by definition
>>43151193What is value?
>>43151341the relative worth, utility, importance, or monetary price of something. key word being relative.
>>43151362Sounds like a load of shit to be honest. I don't get why people are so enamoured with value if it's nothing more than a relative measure.
>>43151640Like, it makes as much sense as being excited about centimeters or kilograms or watt hours or horsepower or gas pressure.
>>43152023Better to argue than to mindlessly agree. We do not have a singular, unified catechism, each Satanist approaches Satan in their own way and sees him differently.
>>43151640people value things because they have some kind of worth. It’s just what the word means, there’s no need to be upset. It’s actually completely nonsensical to ask people to value something that has no worth.>hey, value this thing! >why?>idk just because!
>>43153270So what's the point of valuing something worthless? Considering that anything you can think of is empty of value and is only worth something relative to something else, everything's worthless.>Worthless to you, maybeNo, worthless in itself. If something only has value relationally, the thing itself lacks any worth to be valued by anyone. So, why do people value things they know are worthless?
