It is ironic that Oda acts like a Saturnine tyrant, causing the cancellation of any series with potential or that might overshadow *One Piece*, while at the same time writing a story about a Jovian hero. It is also comical that he criticizes nepotistic elites, yet grants special immunities and privileges to his own assistants who work at *Weekly Shonen Jump*.
