Skaters found a way to enjoy this modern environment or cold hard angles and concrete environments, which went against its core reason to exist. They had to be stopped. But it's bigger than skaters. Ask yourself why we need concrete plazas and kedges everywhere, why we cannot have grass and bushes and flowers. What effect that type of environment would have on society vs the cold brutalist reality we have today.
