>>253292Narrow board and small hard wheels make for easier flip tricks and slides. Wide board and large soft wheels make general riding, balancing and controlling the board easier and more enjoyable. All three can make a big difference but it's always a tradeoff. Bearings don't really matter as a beginner unless you get generic brand shit ones that don't roll well or wear out quick.

There's a million other things, but these were the things that changed the game for me. Especially jumping a tad bit forward and diagonally WHILE flicking up and out through the nose (not off to the side).
