Started Judo about a month ago and I've been really struggling desu, more so than I feel I should. I'm not out of shape either, I have some of the best cardio in the whole class. It's just that the level of athleticism required for judo is much higher than I anticipated, and I feel I seriously lack the coordination and flexibility to properly execute many of the throws (I've yet to get one legitimately clean throw yet desu). Would BJJ be better for a guy like me? I've only done ne waza like twice but the times I have done it I felt it came much more naturally to me than the other aspects of judo.

A month is nothing, keep training at least for 6 months then decide if you want to switch.

>one month
>already quitting
It doesn't matter if it's BJJ, Judo or painting, if you are already finding issues, you are not going to last

You're probably very stiff, unbalanced and exerting mad amounts of energy like every white belt. You'll notice higher belts are relaxed until the moment they have to throw and then they explode.

Im a skinny fuck and a yellow belt and have landed some throws. Being skinny doesnt help at all but my technique is getting better. This shit takes time man but you'll eventually get the hang of it. Good luck landing osoto gari tho. That throw is impossible to land if youre a newbie cause its so easy to counter

It's easy to counter because it doesn't work without kizushi
But all throws don't work without kizushi
