Is Dana right?
>>262377Well he certainly is gay!
>>262377As with most things Dana says, he is talking out his ass. I wonder what he was thinking when one of the fighters he is blatantly favoriting, Paddy, did a post fight speech after his friend killed themself and called for more men to speak up if they felt shitty. Did he think they should've taken the mic away from Paddy?Don't listen to anything Dana says that isn't regarding fights. He is a blowhard.
>>262377Depends, if you're using it like a woman to get attention on social media or avoid doing something yes shut up, if you're about to kill yourself maybe talk to someone you know.
>>262377one of the few times dana white has been right about somethingbeing a lame freak is nothing to be proud of. "normalizing" mental health has resulted in people just patheticmaxxing.now days everyone has got 4 fake mental health disorders (literally not scientific atall) that they are convinced are real. its so stupid
>>262903This anon is gonna put a gun in his mouth in the next decade
>>262903TRVKE>>263157Onions
>>263157Depressed fags are too much of pussies nowadays to actually kill themselves
>>262377There is a level where you need to talk to someone, but you need to talk to another man who is preferably much older and genuinely likes you. That can be your father, grandpa, uncle, an older friend, or a mentor, which is usually the most convenient since you can keep your troubles away from home. But most of the times, it is not worth to talk about your problems to anyone, not men and specially not women. You will only attract unnecessary attention and now that info will be out there being shared by people who kinda like you right now but may not like you later, and by people who actively dislike you right now but hide it well. And women, women will always share or use it against you, even your mom, grandmom, daughter, sister, wife, doesn't matter, they will eventually fire back at you. Make fun of your not-so-serious problems with your best male friends and think of a way to deal with it. It's the healthiest way to deal with it, make it lesser then solve it.Professional help is a meme unless it's an old straight guy, everyone else is just pushing their agendas nowadays and they don't care about fixing your problem, but getting paid. But in some cases it's all some people have.Ah, another thing, don't delay solving a problem for too long, you will become jaded. Always be doing shit. Men weren't made to be lazying around.
>>262377Genuinely masculine men who have faced horrors that would make Dana White and likely everyone in this thread, me included, shit their pants in existential fear, support men openly discussing mental health issues.
Men don't usually improve through discussing issues, that's a female thing. Exercise is a better tonic for male depression than any amount of talking. Or martial arts, that's a really good one.
>>266028I dont remember supporting that
Did anybody ask Dana a question that lead to this or is he just shooting off at the mouth like always
That's true though, nobody cares about your problems and if you're talking about them publicly you're just looking for attention because you know damn well that isn't going to solve them
>>266029The squeaky wheel gets the grease. Hard work can build a house or bury you under it. Men are human too and need to talk about their problems.
>>266047Talk to other men that have had similar issues and overcome them, which is why fathers are importantNot talk to women who live in a world designed to make their lives as easy and comfortable as possible Or "therapists" usually women or gay men that never left academia their entire lives or had another person they're responsible for
There's really no circumstance where it's actually ok to say you're having a difficult time emotionally, it's going to lower your status regardless of anything and make people around you not trust and exclude you. Being branded like that is something you can never come back from socially and you pretty much just have to end any relationship where that's something that was put on you. This is just basic human nature and is pointless to try and fight against. It's like how on a societal level men being raped in prison will always be considered a hilarious joke, it's just how our instincts work and can't be changed
>>266169Redpilled commentPeople only care about you if you make them feel good. Depression isn't attractive. You are a product and a commodity. Be strong mentally and physically because no one will support you if you aren't a woman. Brutal TRVKE
>>262377people have become too confortable using mental health fir sympathy points which is why no one takes it seriously and harms the people that actually need help.
tough talk from blaf, you'll always be a boxercise instructor to me
>>262554>his friend killed themself>themselfKys
>>266268>t.
>>266169That's only true in certain professions. I've had plenty of doctors tell me that they're on antidepressants and I've had therapists tell me they they have therapists. Your body is just a machine and there are ways to very easily fix issues with the machine. Ignoring fixing yourself for the sake of masculinity is genuinely unintelligent. I'd you want to take the retarded and difficult route through life because you think it's badass then go for it but intelligent people don't do that.
>>266927Seeking help is different than talking about it publicly or using it as an excuse
I don't know if he's right or not. But it's hard to know if he's trying to be taken seriously or not, because he's basically a meme at this point. Everything he does is part of a carefully curated image to sell his fighting league to impressionable young men. It wouldn't surprise me if it had less to do with his legitimate views and more to do with trying to make money.
>>266927>I've had plenty of doctors tell me that they're on antidepressants and I've had therapists tell me they they have therapistsbecause doctors and therapists are faggots
