Yes, I read the pins on /fit/, but I wonder if there are other ways that are focused/oriented for combat sports, or will I get the same results with Yoga or whatever else they do?.

I am a faggot, and a Kyokushin karate practicioner, so it is needed if you want good kicks.

I am only a White belt, and I know with time I will get better at it,. But even then I feel it leaves a lot to be desired (I am 54kgs which is like 120lbs), so my guess is that a decent mobility and flexibility should be the bare minimum for me.

So are there other ways to unlock splits and high kicks?

Have another guy force your legs into the splits. It not the healthiest way to do it and it would be extremely painful. But it's the fastest.
