>>152141516Since Adams threads are /pol/ lite anyway, I gotta ask: everyone with sense understands that things rarely just "leak" in the modern world. If people are talking about the island, that means someone let that happen. Probably as a distraction to keep people from talking about something they ACTUALLY want kept secret. My question is, what would they be?P.S. Dilbert could beat Ethan

>>152139554
>>152141173That dynamic is a classic, no doubt. It's interesting how they show in TLH that she's tough and self-reliant, takes care of her overworked mom and overworked brother, latchkey kid, pretty real stuff and interesting. Actually when you think about it Ronnie Anne was from an incomplete family unit whereas Lincoln is the exact opposite, he's from a family super-unit. But I can understand why they had to send her away. Having the protagonist and his love interest have basically their fucking wedding in the first season, you're really not giving people time to ship, dude. That was a cartoon marriage ceremony if I've ever seen one in my life. Star and Marco had the Bloodmoon Ball moment, sure, but even they didn't start making out together right there in front of everybody while heavenly trumpets blow and onlookers applaud like it's End of Evangelion. kek.Anyway, I understand why they had to undertune Ronnie for her to have a show because if she was exactly the same a lot of the problems she faces would be solved very quickly, like that bully trying to keep her off the local basketball court. We all know how that would have gone with Royal Woods RA. I personally just chalk it up to her being insecure from going from a big fish in a small pond kind of a tough girl persona to the actual big city. Actually, I have to give them credit, because they did touch upon that in that episode where she was embarassed and insecure about being from a small town and was still trying to pose like she was a seasoned, local street tough in front of her new Great Lakes City friends.>>152141448Yeah, 'accidentally'. Meanwhile her grandma is using all sorts of hexes and sorcery to get them to get married asap already. I don't think she'd be above poking a hole in any condoms she discovers in RA's room as long as she approves of the boyfriend.
>>152141517That was frustrating; when she was on screen with Lincoln, it was like the old RA was back.
>>152141590Well, that IS the old RA, that's what I mean. Both RAs are the real RA to me. When she's with Lincoln she slips right into her old self because, well, he's Lincoln, he's Royal Woods, he's all of that stuff. But when he's not around and she's got to learn how to be a city girl and a girl from a big family, basically the opposite of what she grew up as, she starts acting slightly different. I don't know, maybe I'm not explaining myself well. It's just an environment thing, really. I honestly think she'd go back to acting like that if it's just the two of them. Her latest long appearance in TLH that I saw was that episode where Luan traps her and Lincoln in that corn maze together, and in that one she was kind of a blend of RW RA and GCL RA. In any case I really like that all that stuff is still in her, the playful teasing, I won't spoil the ending to the episode but you know what I mean. So it's not like she's a full blown skinwalker different character, at least to me, which I find reassuring. It doesn't frustrate me, quite the opposite in fact. She is a girl with layers and she acts different around the boy she likes. That's the impression I get, anyhow.
what re we going to do once AI become industry standard? (it's the cheapest option so of course it going to become the go to for penny pinchers)
>>152138187Just like with previous technology, AI drastically improves the workflow of comics and cartoons as with fetching references and setting information. It can be used lazily and uncreatively but so can photographic technology, or tweening and reusing the same art style in digital animation.
>>152141368>industry has too much respect for animation as a medium to cut out creative vision and direction from it. He says when isekai garbage is dominating the industry
Animation has been nothing but nonstop innovation but this is the first piece of technology that lets writers also be lazy pieces of shit
>>152141521You're mistaking content for medium, anon. Consider this, anon: even for a generic garbage isekai, the purpose of the anime at minimum is still to faithfully adapt the source material into an anime. Character designs matter. Plot events matter. The specifics of the story matter. At minimum you need to take whats there and put it on the screen. If you have the talent and money, though, the hope is that the anime doesn't just adapt it but elevates it. The direction and animation in shows like Mushoku Tensei and Konosuba area big part of what makes those shows good, the same script with worse studios adapting it would make for a worse show. Now, how do you expect AI to fill this need when AI can't even consistently remember what colors a given characters eyes are? If it can't faithfully represent the characters or events of the story, why would you ever hire the AI animation studio? Thats their one job in this. An anime for a LN that doesn't adapt the LN in a way that allows for people to go back and continue the story in its original form is worthless. Less than worthless, even.
It's soon going to be 4 years since we have this technology, are there any actually good series made with it? MostAI users here seem to be content with just generating porn of their waifu, trolling and roleplaying. Any actually creative drive to make something beyond temporary tastes seems to be lacking.
Oh, have you?
>>152140719Damn, imagine writing your self-insert as hopping off a roof because she point-blank refuses to trust anyone except boys she's attracted to and being huffy cause people think she's the craziest person in the room.
>>152141659I know she was dying here but it's funny that she was afraid that Augustus was going to call Alejandro, as if she'd live long enough for him to do anything to her. I'm also gonna go out on a limb here and assume that Alejandro is more of a petty criminal and not the kind of guy to steal and abuse a corpse.
>>152141659I guess having a live-in replacement security blanket makes all the difference in the world. It's not as if Lucy's had any significant character development that would fix her dependency issues. Reminder that she pulled that stunt back when her sense of self-awareness was the highest it ever got.

Why are writers perfectly fine with making fun of Mark Millar but don't dare even say a mean thing about Bendis? He did the exact same edgy bullshit & way more often than Millar did at Marvel. While being a worse version of Joss Whedon with way more words & nigs to boot. Is it just because modern comic writers are exactly like Bendis personality wise? Wouldn't surprise me with how little they care about continuity & characterization.

>"Anyone can wear the mask"Why did this quote upset so many people? It goes to the core of Spider-Man’s creation - the idea that “anyone could have been bitten by the spider.” That’s why Peter is a relatable everyman. To put it differently, "anyone can be a hero", and it works with Spider-Man because everyone has been in his shoes in one way or another.
Because people are too opposed to any kind of legacy characters
