Aside from the Warners and Pinky & The Brain, were any of the other members of the ensemble that good? I always found Goodfeathers to be boring/annoying cause it was the same joke every time. Rita and Runt were just an excuse for a music number. Hippos were pure garbage. Buttons and Mindy was okay at best. I liked Chicken Boo, I guess.
What nobody wants to admit about Animaniacs is that huge swaths of it aren't good and aren't funny, INCLUDING a ton of segments with the Warners.Pinky & the Brain hard-carry a lot of episodes, and you can tell they figured this out eventually too because they're the ones who got a spinoff.Meanwhile there were an awful lot of clunkers and one-note gags.
