Any tips on what keybinds to use when sculpting in blender? I have been sculpting everything with just my mouse and now that i finally have a tablet it feels very clunky and hard to work/zoom/move around the view port. pic related is what i have.

You use your keyboard while sculpting with pen in zbrush. Sculpting with a pen sucks ass, do it with mouse and add the last fine details with a pen.

Your stylus has two buttons, set the first one to MMB, second one to RMB, you hold shift to pan and ctrl to zoom

That's just you, skill issue

Plenty of industry artists do it like that.

what are you finding difficult? you have the same left middle and right click with a tablet. for me the only thing i miss is the scroll wheel for changing the falloff when using proportional editing. so i set up two new keybinds to fix that.

i hope this is bait. the only sculpting you can do with a mouse is using brushes that dont require pen pressure. so pretty much only the grab/move brush. otherwise you are just wasting your time. if you wanna "do it with a mouse" then model your basemesh and then sculpt with a pen at the end.

op here i sculpted pic related only using a mouse. currently trying to get used to the pen but issues im running into is the cursor being constantly repositioned while im trying to rotate/zoom around my model and the fact that the surface area for the tablet feels tiny compared to having my mouse always steady and always shown with no skipping

thats actually very impassive without a tablet.
what do you mean by the cursor being repositioned? i can understand the small tablet thing, you can either get a bigger one or see if your tablet has a "precision mode"

Try messing with those Navigation settings, that's what I like using for sculpting but your preferences might differ.
I couldn't really get used to Trackball but some people swear by it so you could try that too.

it takes a while to get used to drawing on a tablet.
I suggest you open any drawing program and just do a warm up of drawing circles, and 2 points and then a straight line between them for a few min, also make sure your wacom settings are corrects, make sure your pen pressure works, it is the most important feature of your pen tablet

Have a pen with buttons, set up like this.
Left hand on keyboard with default binds, right hand on tablet. Navigation is smooth and comfy.

I only use the tablet for texturing, I have an older wacom one, you can check the touchview addon if you want to use blender without keyboard too > it is free

I developed a popular mod covered by news articles and youtubers, and earn from 3D as a side hustle. I've reached my goals and honed my skills after years. You're projecting.

How is that related to using a tablet?
For example, I bought a house, does it mean I'm a better artist than you?
