how do i set up a local AI mesh generator?this shit takes forever to give me a turn
>>1019223You'll have to ask the ai board rather than the 3d board
>>1019223>Local makes you sign upYa I don’t think it’s possible
If you dont have enough vram it will literally take you longer to generate a mesh than it would be to wait your turn. And I bet a subscription to that service costs less than buying an adequate set of graphics cards. And I bet all of that is on purpose.
>>1019232"on purpose"bro it's logical, not sinister, throughout all of history it's cheaper to pay the people who have the machine than to build your own machine. if you are wealthy enough to buy your own machine, then there's no problem.take your meds
last time i checked you could run hunyuan 3d 2.1 locally using comfyui. getting it set up was a bit of a nightmare and i think there's actually a pre-packaged version of comfy out there because of just how much of a pain it is (even that didn't work for me, had to build something manually).vram usage wasn't crazy. hunyuan 3d 3 is out tomorrow. there was a big jump in quality on all the models a few days ago - not sure why it was so synchronised, but w/e, we should see similar improvements from 3.0 i expect.wait for the release tomorrow. there will be guides online soon after, and that's the best time to set it up and have working portable install sitting around.
>>1019238>hunyuan 3d 3 is out tomorrowoh nevermind, this was hunyuan image 3.0so yeah, local models are shit compared to the new online ones right now.
I tried this the other day, it's missing some stuff but it's decent I really want to run it locally though>>1019238hunyuan3d 2 is dogshit & has no details compared to sparc
anyone remembers that old siggraph or some meme video demo of an image of a valve being converted to a 3d model?
>>1019302>House has all windows and no wallAI sucks
>>1019235>heh bro. Bet you didn't know what you said was actually logical.
>>1019303Yeah it was a nest idea to make models from images. Lol did they ever get a product to market? What chumps keeping their code hidden like they'd profit from it one day.
