Hello, are exported contents (FBX, Texture files) from pirated softwares traceable back to you or your company? I heard metadata could contain your info but it seems people generally don't care enough to check your assets. i'm looking to use autodesk programs and Substance painter.if so, are there ways to launder them out? ie. import into blender and export back out.
>your companysuppose ur company pays a 3d artist 100k, maya seat license would be equal to 2% of their salary. the dental plan in their healthcare probably costs more than that. movies have budgets in millions of dollars. i get that kids and wagies can't afford it, but if ur claiming pro, what's the problem? it's not expensive.
Yeah they dont care to check your assets and then one day they are and you still have to pay for all the years you didnt get caught. You need an intermediary software. If you load an fbx into blender and the export that fbx again it will obliterate all of the traces. Gimp for 2d.
>>1021278Some people have month to month or short contracts, that doesn't even guarantee high pays
>>1021282Then use free software for the 3d part and get the steam license of substance which is like 200, which you can easily get by drawing someone's favorite webcomic character getting fucked
>>1021295>get the steam license of substance which is like 200And I get to keep it forever, no?
companies that are too cheap to pay for maya are also probably too cheap to pay you a fair wage. something to think about.
>>1021305Of course not, chud. Stop being greedy.
>>1021305You do if you take the one that's not a subscription, but you could just have gone to the steam page to find that out
