>no parametric modeling threadsWhat is this? Just an artcvck board?
>>1028274>Screenshot of CEO toy program. Are you industry larpers branching off into other fields now? Do some research before you post ffs.I've done some shit in OpenSCAD and geometry nodes if anyone's interested.
>>1028274is this car underbody ?moving via skid?
>>1028282Too scared to pirate NX? Fear being a John Doe defendant to a $150k+ federal suit?Learn how your firewall works faggot, or install it in Qubes OS.Also never share .prt files, each licensed instance signs its changes to the file like a CA trust chain, and legit instances will see an invalid out of chain key signature and signal to Siemens.
>>1028274parametric shit is boring you nigger i don't want to see this shit outside of work anymore
>>1028274> What is this? Just an artcvck board?yessir
>>1028718is plasticity or fusion better for these kind of models?
>>1028738Plasticity if you're not interested in learning cad and don't need parametric features. Also will be much easier to learn probably.Fusion if you are autistic, dont mind it being a piece of autodesk dogshit, have other reasons to use it like 3d printing and need parametric and history editing.
>>1028742Been using plasticity for 2 years and I was wondering if fusion was more robust and easier to do models like your picsf.e. in plasticity complicated bevelling may make the program lag or take long calculation times, rarely a crash. Generally wondering if there are QoL features im missing out from a real cad app
>>1028766I avoid getting the big guys on the high seas since solidworks is pretty aggressive about it and sued people over it. Fusion free edition or a "free" plasticity was my go to. I just make game assets.
>>1028718OP here. That is sexy, anon! :3>>1028738>>1028742>>1028745NX is the best, but again it comes at a cost: cheap academic but prt files are limited and there are tattoos on some outputs, full license costs as much as a new car, or you learn your firewall well enough to by default block all outbound (whitelisting only the executables which you desire to have network access).
>>1028771>:3Certified to be bred by BWC.
>>1028745Nah, stay on plasticity. For gameres hardsurface it is more than enough, almost everybody in our studio are switched to plasticity from fusion. Also fusion can get slow as fuck when working on something complex enough.
>>1028819Hmm alright. I saw the opposite that plasticity gets dunked on for being the noobie software while fusion is the real shit that you need to learn. Howewer I do tend to enjoy plasticity's lightning speed and lightweightness compared to fusion, and launching it up just takes a half a second with the scene instantly loaded in.
