In Chapter 232, Pochita is mainly talking that Denji was more happier when he was a yakuza slave due not having to deal with the bullshit of being Chainsaw Man like Makima, Public Safety, Shiga and CSM church screw him over and trying to use him due being CSM, most personal problems of Denji were result of their actions. This is why Denji is more in peace with himself in the ending despite his life not being perfect in the new world due not having those negative influences around him, also people need to accept that Denji could never live a civilian life due his life experiences.

I actually thought the ending for Chainsaw Man was good. I know a lot of people had problems with it, but I thought it was great.Even if you disagree about the world resetting, given the power gap between the bugs and Denjiman it makes sense for Pochita to reset the world as a last resort. It also put Pochita in some kind of a mentor or elder role to Denji, and let Denji show how far he had come by losing someone who had been there since the beginning.
