The soundtrack is also one of my favorites. I've always had good results recommending it. Origin is pretty good as well but I actually don't recommend this until after you've done at least 0079 + CCA 0079 can be watched just as movies. I think they do a nice job of summarizing the show whereas the zeta movies aren't half as good as the show. They're just an entirely different experience. I think you should just pick one that you vibe with as there's so many without even including AUs. As long as you know what happens to lalah and char/amuro at the end of 0079 most of the other UC series can be easily followed. So if you, for example, choose to watch ZZ because you liked it and like X character then maybe you'll go watch others to fill in the information you missed. People stress out about watch order but there is no reason to slog through something you don't like when you can always go watch it later. People forget the only way to watch it was broadcast, rental, or buying LDs (over 1.2k USD per series in the 80s, or by VHS, later) War in the pocket is another short ova that's really good.Now if you you want manga... That's.. I have so many so give you. There's 5+ manga of CCA alone. A crapton of fun spin offs, AUs, back stories, etc Gundam Manga is fun. Same with the novels.For just Hathaway if you wanted to leave it at that then just 1+2 and CCA as a bonus. Hathaway as a character doesn't need much background information compared to others we they added that sequence.
Senyuu was pretty good but I didn't really followed it.
