They all practice alone because they love their music and instruments, but when they're together they would rather just hang out, which is why their band perfromance suffers. But even with that, they're HARD carried by their charisma, chemistry, and AURA as a band. They have such excellent stage presence and vibes that they don't need to sound technically perfect to put on an amazing show. I think the kessokus have this problem to a certain extent. Kita obviously is charismatic, and bocchi knows how to aurafarm, but atleast at this point they often feel disjointed during their performances. The yellow hag even calls out that ryou is in her own world too much and they dont have enough interplay between them all. Nijika especially feels separated from the others in a way that ritsu doesn't, but maybe now I'm reaching a bit. Basically, they each are better at certain aspects of perfromance that are all important. It's not enough just to play well, and it's not enough just to go off good vibes. You need to have both in order to be truly great. Both band are quite evenly matched, when accounting for all of this together. Thus, it would end in a tie and a massive tea party with pleanty of cake and pastries and lauging and having fun
