A chapter focused on Himari’s everyday life should’ve come much earlier, not when the manga is about to end.The fact that all the main characters are working high schoolers is what sets Hima-Ten! apart from other romcoms. It’s a shame the author didn’t make better use of that aspect.

The story progression should start from her not liking Iemori because she wants to protect Hima, into gradually falling in love with him. As for the senpai type, I think it'd be bettet than Honoka because then the author doesn't need to introduce Himenono with most contrived plot twist like she lives next door and an ex-idol who turns into a teacher (I mean, teacher student relationship would never get approved). Just make her as next door older childhood friend that Iemori has a crush on.
