I'm already bracing myself for Roku's axe, and I'm really bummed about it. With PPP, even though I had a great time with it, I knew it wasn't long for this world. However, Roku strikes me as a series that's trying to do everything right--core cast with striking designs and personalities, decent comedy, some emotional depth--but it's still not resonating with a big enough audience. I genuninely don't know what the author could do differently, apart from double-down on the comedy or add some fanservice. My fear is that, out of desperation, it transforms into an action series, which would abolutely suck and seal its fate as a U19.
