I watched the English dub of Rebellion for the first time with a group of people and holy fuck I had no idea how dire American voice acting is. Did they even watch the Japanese version to understand how they were meant to deliver the lines? The moment where Sayaka is confronting Homura and turns back towards her and says "Transfer Student" is fucking DIRE in english. It's so bad. I genuinely feel like if you watch the dub you have wasted your time, the movie is objectively worse.
