That's because for some reason they print them instead of injecting resin into mold. Using molds is cheaper but I guess they don't have funds to invest into machines needed to do that. So they print, don't finish them, leaving subpar quality, but make up for it with designs. At this point I'm considering buying only bootleg garage kits based on their figs and painting them myself because bootlegs are made with molds and you can sand them yourself.I have 4 Insight figs so far and 3 more planned, so I guess I could dig out old photos or make new ones displaying their typical quality issues.They are also quite fragile and often broke during transport, my Otosaka lost couple fingers for example, but recently they started to tape them in a way that keeps fragile parts in the air and cut figs into pieces with pegs so it's easier to pack in safe way.Most recent I got was Seraphina and she was worst quality I saw from them. White on her stockings is merciless and shows every irregularity. At least they usually try to polish exposed front with titties etc.
