The final chapter is out: https://mangaplus.shueisha.co.jp/viewer/1029123Did you enjoy this manga?
>>288345944>Did you enjoy this manga?Very, especially the middle part, but it's dreadfully clear there were something like 10 chapters cut from the end portion and so the actual epilogue works but everything before it feels way rushed. A real shame since otherwise it's one of the best things I've read in recent memory. You'll never convince me Ness wasn't supposed to be Yoda.
Soul
yep
>>288345944I dropped it after 30 chapters, but yeah, it was fun at the start.
>>288345944If no one else picks it up I'm planning to storytime the whole thing eventually. Gonna be late next month at the earliest though, since I'm leaving for short vacation in a couple weeks and I'm gonna first storytime Trembling Right Hand when I'm back.
>>288348077:3
Looks like Mizukami and the Creepy author are buddies
>>288345944I enjoyed the ending well enough but I think it was overall better when it was just an anthology.
>>288346014I don't quite understand what the fakeout near the end was for.
>>288349547A bit of shade at Chainsawman's reset ending, supposedly
>>288345944I liked it alot. I agree with the other anons that it feels a little rushed BUT it still managed to conclude everything on a nice note. No more creepiest, no more freakiest, the crew cant go back to how they were but they can still adapt for a better future. It feels complete enough. Alot of axed (and sometimes even not axed) manga usually have pretty bad endings, so I am happy this one ended good. It was a nice homage to SCP too. It made me nostalgic for the good ol days.
>>288352800>alot
>>288352949They're wonderful creatures.
>>288345944I liked it better when it was just monster of the week thing before it took its own overarching convoluted plot too seriously.I still think the mangaka ran out of ideas for the weekly horror box thing and just wanted to wrap it.
>>288353150I think the mangaka had some idea of connecting all the stories together like the satellite symbol suggests, and the big reveal was very good. But after that it transitioned from mystery to action and from story telling to lore dumping and it feels very unnatural, so either it's a lack of foresight or a panic move to alter the ratings
>>288346014I always thought they where Akatsu. Yoda was a con artist and those little characters didn't act like Yoda would. In the end she did join them like Claire wanted. The ending was well done, one of the best endings I've read.>>288349547To give some hope to them. In the end it was inevitable to change fate.
>>288348077>>288348255Miss Bury my beloved anomaly killing waifu, whatever shall I do without you?
i remember someone said there are 2 more page of chapter 48 that did not show in plus
>>288345944It was alright but I preferred the episodic box creepypasta format from the first half of the series
>>288352693But this manga did basically the same thing!
>>288354625>>288354644>>288354665why did she want to fuck the box so much
>>288358199what's with the random japanese in this page anyway
>>288358987literally show under
>>288359179not the best cleaning job
>>288345944Dropped it when it tossed out the horror in favor of bland action sequences. Became exactly the kind of thing I'm worried about happening to Dark Gathering
>>288359717Are there any other ongoing anthology horror manga right now?
>>288358199So this is how the story started... Then the new Sakagami will drink it?
ah shit I forgot bump while I read it
>>288358199>that's just not a thingclearly task king is worse than hitler
What's with the line going through the speech bubble here?
>>288359754Ura BaitoIts in final arc right now
>>288346014Yeah, as far as axes go it wasn't too bad but something is obviously missing
>>288358161The reset here didn't happen at the moment the part protagonists character arc was about to be completed.
>>288354625I like the upside down spider
>>288356800Might have been full text page explaining something they didn't want to bother translating maybe
>>288360965Found it>>288341793>>288341802
>>288361081So on jump+ it released with the pages missing and they fixed it there eventually but didn't bother to fix it for us?Man imagine if that happened with a big series
>>288360804Looks like a piece of hair that fell when scanning.
>>288360888I was hoping for something I wasn't actively reading, but thanks nevertheless.
>>288358987they add the translation next to it instead of redrawing the original image
>>288359717Yeah, it's just another "deep" shit. No point in caring about this one, I'm getting underage vibes from this, so called, "project".
I agree with others that it lost the plot with Mayor becoming the villain and taking much of the focus in those last ~10 chapters. Still a solid comic, especially that slow build-up from cliche stories to increasingly unsettling and surreal ones. Hooks you in good.>>288358199>Sakagami chugged NPCemen.>>288360888I really love Ura Baito, but I feel like a complete brainlet trying to understand the overarching plot at this point.
It went from being a decent Ito-like horror with a meta subplot to a shitty action B movie. Really felt like wasted potential. Overall a 5/10.
Yonekura if she real.
>>288346014Pretty much my thoughtsOverall though I quite enjoyed this series for what it was
>>288345944Is this getting a volume release?
>Yonekura and NPC used their genetic information to create new life>The manga started with Yonekura and Sakagami drinking amniotic fluidit’s like poetry it rhymes
>>288366346Forbidden love!
>>288366180He childhood befriended Japanese Wednesday Adams. The author wins.
She could have saved me....
>>288358332Why don't you?
I really liked it, a short anime session would be amazing.
>>288370041Between the artstyle changes and that fucking headtilt in the Cheshire / Bunny reveal my pipe dream is Shaft doing it, but it'll never happen.
>>288360888I dropped this after the first few arcs, but I should give it another shot
>>288345944yes
