I understand why people enjoy Jurota and this fight, because it does have a little bit more heart to it than most others in this tournament despite its issues(not properly addressing Jurota's either inability or refusal to use chokes/ringouts being a big one), and Jurota is one of the Purgatory gang Sandro hated the least as evidenced by him actually reappearing for more than just jobbing again. The concept of some Kuroki level guy losing to the rules/his own autism isn't inherently bad either, but in the context of the rest of the tournament? It makes Purgatory even more of a fucking joke. So far the only one to win without dying or sacrificing his frontal lobe for a ringout is Falcon, and even he has the asterisks of poison, admitting he couldn't beat Lihito a second time, and being in much worse shape after. Purgatory needed at least one fight where their character outclassed their opponent and stuck the landing and it never happened.

One thing that got dropped in Omega were the brootal training montages. Julius wrecking formula one etc.I guess its due to the principle meta but its also why the powerscaling feels random as fuck. The only character that gets shown training is Koga and he doesnt do shit and Ohmer's training is just showing up and mogging with 0 actual struggle.At least Baki got creative with it and the titular protagonist would conjure up gigantic insects and sweat so bad he'd get dehydrated.They never even show Julius taking roids before a match whereas for Jack Hammer it's a ritual.
