Wow I really liked the girls from this group, I think they're my favorites so far. They are all delightful in different ways, I think I like Eri the best. Very enjoyable episode, couldn't stop smiling through it. I was also very happy to see Kinue making it big and healing Ryouko through sheer purity of soul. She looked very cute as a housewife.
This show does drama well, but it also does light hearted stuff equally well. I also really enjoyed the episode about the guy who's obsessed with the Awajima Revue. Every character introduced in this episode was immediately likeable (except those fake bitches) and you got a good sense of everyone's personality. I mean, that's the case with pretty much every character in every episode, but when the subject matter is less serious and the characters are all acting casually I guess their personalities shine through more. I thought the direction was really good this episode but I couldn't really give you any specific examples as to why. It just flowed really well from scene to scene.
