>>288411013>still threatening him over money This guy
>>288411091>>288411109Why do the japs have such a need for hierarchy
>>288411290Thanks thou saucy fellow
>>288412154What culture doesn't have hierarchy?
>>288412891Bump
>>288410856Yeah, for a neurosurgeon he sure knows a lot about emergency medicine.
>>288414553
>>288411290Thank you for posting.
ovaaaaaaaaa
>>288418723kind of an anti-cliffhanger ain't it
>>288418723Was there anyone Jin has hated so far? I mean the worst before this was probably that old woman who tried to trick him and Ryoma but he got bailed out by Nokaze writing to the actor. At this point hes been brutalized in prison, with conditions meant to kill him, tortured with the threat that Saki would also get tortured until he confesses to poisoning. Execution was going to happen either way. Maybe he should hate this place a bit more than he does lol
>>288418553kind of a goofy way to resolve this situation desu
>>288419323yeah, any sane normal person would be emotional over this shit
>>288418512Man the human body is stupidPhineas Gage can survive his bullshit but then you can also just die by getting touched iin the chest the wrong way
>>288419977look up the guy that survived a pistol being emptied into his headtwice
>>288419977Like, specifically what happened here is his heart was hit in a millisecond when it was not beating, got confused and just gave up
>>288420109The head is such bullshit. Even the strongest person in the world will die to an amateur's swing of a stick if it lands a bit wrong on the head. But then you can also survive multiple shots in the head.
>>288415269Well a bug in the ear is pretty basic, he must have learned it in his intern years. He better know how to deal with it himself because if it's the middle of the night and you wake the on-call ENT for something like this - they'll have some colorful language for you.
>>288419977in evolution, "good enough" is good enough
>>288419323In his shoes I dont exactly think Id a le to hold a real grudge against anyone aside from short term anger, because he's literally not from this world, none of these people really "know" you
>>288412891Don't be ignorant
>>288418723Thanks thou saucy fellow
>>288412154Hierarchy gets things done brutally (sometimes clumsily) but fast. Every place recognise this. Look up your country's law and it should be written somewhere how and when the government can up the gear on its engine and make people form ranks.
>>288419323I mean he's effectively among kindergarteners with relation to education. Obviously you'd be pissed off if you died but it wouldn't be that surprising if you were killed for no or incredibly petty reasons
>>288420655Not him but without it society literally cannot developEven the most wild 5th world tribe have chiefs
>>288419323
>>288418471>Wait a second!>This is not how it works here in Japan!
>>288418494Just a little samurai roleplay. Nothing too suspicious.
>>288418596If a man won't change after a near-death experience then he will never change.
>>288418723Thx buddy>>288419323I think this is where his future knowledge play a part. He can recognize when something is happening in the background, which is probably what alleviates part of his resentment.
Bump.
>>288410610thanks
>>288411197Nokaze would be pretty rich just on her own, right?
>>288411290Jin....
>>288424907No, the brothel owner takes the majority of the profits, there's a reason why they need to be bought off by the rich to gain their "freedom".
>>288418512Commotio cordis. Had a few middle and high school kids die of this here when they thought they were getting into simple fist fights.
is this manga still getting more chapters?
>>288418481>natural 20 on an unarmed check
>>288418512I thought defibrillators couldn't restart a heart.
>>288427104I suspect maybe he just said the first thing that came to mind that they would understand? The heart is still beating, just in a non-livable way. Defibrillation only works on a heart that is in ventricular tachycardia or ventricular fibrillation. Big myth due to TV that defibs can restart anything. In this case, cardiac concussion induces ventricular fibrillation, so it would work.
>>288421008Yes hierarchy is universal, but I doubt prisons in most places have a dozen different ranks and roles all with their own titles. Groups function perfectly fine with just 4-5. If Jeff's the guy who takes the smuggled drugs from the guards to the alpha inmate he's just Jeff, the job generally doesn't come with an inheritable title. I know prisoners often have nicknames which are sometimes related to their role, but those aren't passed on.

>>288428721>>288428783I like this dude. He's not really evil. While at times antagonistic because he wants his life work to continue he's not actively malicious about it.

there's something about seeing a doctor so devoted to saving lives that puts me in a good moodespecially when there's imminent danger during a surgery but he still tells his assistants to focus

>>288428865It sucks that she lost the Jin bowl...But also kind of won it in a weird roundabout way.
>>288430338>spoilerIt was kind of weird but also nice that in the end, they both won. Nokaze is a very hard character to dislike, so her losing the Jinbowl, while expected, stings a little.
>>288410544Bump
