>wonder why anime is called "Kill Blue"
>it's because Blue is the bad oneI see.
Is Noren really just going worthless all season?
>(a) Fire.>(b) Go into a long speech about how if you kill the bad guys, you're no better than them.
>>288423835she's just there to look pretty

>>288423798Why cant you just spank this JC until she behaves?

>>288424087>kurowhat did they mean by this?
>>288423835I came across a few volumes of the manga recently. Should buy them all and nut on every single panel that contains Noren.
>>288423835How does one resist the urge to rape her or cum all over her face
>>288424780well it's a villain disguised as an MC ally, the actual teal haired JC is well-behaved (Noren needs a bit of correction though)
>>288425034Her being a middle schooler probably helps.
>>288425099It's too bad they don't look like that in real life.
>>288425053Noren acts tough but would cry little a baby after about 5 smacks

>>288423835Noren is so defenseless...
>>288423835basically I think it would be next season where she's more active in this
>>288423798So I actually finished reading the manga just a few days ago.It was cancelled, right? It ended so fucking prematurely. There is no way this was the intended ending.I remember reaching around chapter 90 and was wondering how the fuck the author could wrap up every mystery and resolve every character arc in a satisfying way by chapter 115 (because the chapters only reached chapter 115 on my manga piracy site). He didn't.Everything was complete warp speed in the last 10 chapters. The whole "you have to be student council president" thing ended up being a dropped major plot point.I get that the whole thing about Noren actually really being an older woman who was also de-aged was foreshadowed in the haunted mansion arc, but it still felt like the execution of the payoff was unsatisfying. Also, I feel like the manga had like 30-40 chapters of just pure filler sometime halfway through it (including the aforementioned "haunted" aspect of the haunted mansion arc). Which I'm guessing is what contributed to it being axed.I'm actually mad and have no intention of even watching the rest of the anime anymore. Not that I'm here to stop you if you do. You do you. I'm just saying that the manga was that disappointing.
I DIDN'T watch it
>>288430387Yeah it was axed, many bought the first volumes because it was made by the Kuroko no Basket guy, but as time went on and they realized it was completely different, sales began to plummet. The last two arcs were clearly aborted. Out of nowhere, Ogami said, “Fuck the Unicorns and the entere premise of the manga, I’m going to rush final boss,” and then he said again, “Fuck the school council election, I’m going to rush the secret final boss.”
>>288430387Damn I was really liking it. I hope the anime does a better pacing job.
>>288430941As much as I would love to defend the mangaka, in this case, it getting axed was very clearly his own fault. Even though I don't know anything about the manga's sales, I feel the publisher was very much justified in giving the manga the boot just because of how meandering and unfocused the manga was. Even from the start, the pacing was awful. It tried way too hard to balance school slice of life with the spy aspects. The author also tried way too hard to make side characters like the girl in OP (whose name I already have forgotten because of how much I want to remove this manga from my memory) important and developed, and even gives them more focus than the actual villains who need fleshing out. Also, the overarching plot about the genetic engineering barely got any focus at all in the first half. So many of the unicorns and assassins had nothing to do with the overarching plot and were basically a waste of time (like the triplets very later on). Each assassin fight should have progressed the overarching plot, yet very few did. It didn't help that the smug main villain (whose name I forgot) was absolutely insufferable as an antagonist. It's the worst type of villain you could have possibly written. Just overpowered and perfect in everything, with no real interesting motivation (his whole "I want to create a world of war in Japan so that the Japanese can be strong" belief that supposedly drives him is just felt insanely contrived). I guess it didn't help that I started Kill Ao immediately after finishing Golden Kamuy, which has arguably the best villain in all of manga with Tsurumi. It's such a shame that it turned out the way it did, because I can totally see it being salvaged if only the manga had a strict editor willing to tardwrangle the mangaka from meandering and wasting time. And it's clear from how good the art stayed until the end that the mangaka actually enjoyed doing the manga. But he very much needed to be strongarmed.
>>288431056The anime adaptation hasn't addressed the pacing issue. It adds another issue: Terrible animation. As I've said in previous threads, the animators seemed to be doing everything they could to avoid animating. So many basic dialogue scenes had lingering shots of the background with nothing happening. Characters are angled in such a way that only their mouths had to be animated. It feels like 90% of the animation budget was spent on the OP and ED.
>>288431169Wish they could animate at least more Noren.
>>288431281>>288431056>even AI slop can't make her a middle schooler
>>288425252And it would be hot.
>>288431133Yeah, like you said it seems the author had almost no plan and was making the story along the way. There are many plot points that are left unresolved and, in hindsight, don’t make sense. For ex. in one of the early chapters, they introduced Noren’s “mother,” whom Noren loves and seems to consider the only person close to her. Not only does she never appear again, but their entire close relationship stops making sense and actually becomes pretty creepy when the twist about Noren identity appears, same goes for her uncle. And the story didn't really take advantage of that plot twist either, it would have been a good idea to hint that Noren was the doctor who cared for the chinese hitman when he was a baby, and that's why he feels instinctively obsessed with her, but it seems the mangaka didn't even think about it
So why is it called Kill Blue?
>>288431978青 (said Ao or Sei) is the Japanese word for blue-green and they strongly associate that with youth, it's even part of words related to youthThe kill part, I assume, is because he was a killer
Legit couldn't have told this happened without the narration. I thought he shot some pipes to raise smoke or something.
