It feels like Beatbreak is on a consistent path where every odd episode is weak and every even episode is decent and I could tell this episode would suck for the sheer fact that its Tactics focused. I think this episode summed up what I didn't like about that arc as a while and that the members of Tactics (mostly Raito) are unlikable and hard to take seriously as rivals and once again Beatbreak does this nasty happen of removing Reina and Makoto because the writers are too lazy to make engaging scenarios that doesn't involve Armalizamon spam. I swear every Digimon series for the last decade has suffered from MC wank.

This episode feels less like a GIFT arc episode and more of a bridge episode between the Tactics arc and the final arc. Each individual episode of the GIFT arc so far had been really enjoyable to me, but this episode being how it is definitely contributes to how this arc feels all over the place.Anyways, Raito ragebaiting Tomoro into going into action and being useful as bait for Raito to find the sniper is pretty funny. Tomoro being the caretaker of everyone's Digimon this week was strange.
The way they got Reina and Makoto out of the episode was very silly. They just get drugged, and we don’t even bother to check up on them by the end of the episode.Also, Tomoro going in the water wearing a hoodie is just inexcusable.

I don't think this will happen, but one way Beatbreak could go all in with the "everyone deserves to have a second chance" theme would be to for Tomoro to successfully recruit Miharu into the Golden Dawn team and thus make Miharu the "midseason tamer" for Beatbreak. This will also be hilariously ironic since Miharu obviously wants to recruit Tomoro for her cult. The main reasons I don't think this will happen is because it'll be about 3/4ths into the season by the time it happens and her partner is Mephismon, but Beatbreak isn't bound by normal toy commercial rules. Miharu also hasn't any acrylics or other otaku-oriented merch like Team Tactics 7 has.
