I think the U19 specifically hurts more than it just getting axed, for me. I really enjoyed every chapter, even earlier on, and yeah, objectively I can acknowledge things it could've maybe done differently, but I never thought it was making any actually, aggressively bad missteps. Hell, I really liked that it was trying to take a slow approach to revealing exactly what was going on with the parasites, and with the reveal we got later, I would've been totally fine waiting that out because it really adds to the ticking-time-bomb horror aspects. Overall, I just... really enjoyed the energy it was putting out and was fine following it wherever it wanted to go. I'm only one gaijin voter, so I suppose this doesn't matter too much, but man. I'll definitely be buying the volumes when they drop, and am surely keeping up with Inui's (hopefully) future works.
