The Conan crossover episode was fun. How did we like it?

As someone who doesn't know much about Conan, I don't think it was a very good way to introduce me to him.Probably they didn't want him to steal the spotlight from the Cures, but in the end, him dropping a few hints to lead the Cures in the right direction didn't feel that essential or impactful. And he didn't seem to build any meaningful relations with the Cures over the course of the episode, or deduce anything about their secret identities or the nature of the monsters appearing the town, so their interactions didn't have much emotional resonance with me.Other one-off characters like Shiruku seemed much more important to their episodes.Still looking forward to the Conan episode next week; it'll probably do a better job of making him the star of the episode, if nothing else.

>>288447171Conan's setting is something like superposition, it started in 90-es with flip phones and now it's like modern times with touchscreens, but nobody gets older. It's not that convenient for MT setting - Mikuru must be older or Anna is able to transform without Mikuru. I don't think Toei is willing to dive into this rabbit hole before movie or young mother reveal.
