The scenes don't really add anything plotwise, but they do add some meat to the theme of how our favorite dropkicks are looked down on by society at large, something the shorts only halfway touched on.It also reveals that O.T.A.M.'s "kill all criminals" plot happened more times than the one rumor at the start, and maybe hints at a larger conspiracy going all the way up to the police's top brass, if not beyond.
