I had the trilogy for Nintendo switch on my Nintendo switch 2 from that series.

As a kid I thought SIGN and Roots were boring and enjoyed Twilight the most. When I started going online and saw everyone disliked Twilight I was surprised.

One of my favourite OST.

The earlier parts were fine, but what I've seen about the story in some later parts did not sound good.

Sign, Liminality, and the IMOQ quadrilogy were all good.
Pretty much everything since has been trash.

Legend of the Twilight was the first physical manga I ever bought. I love this series to death, really. I watched SIGN only recently and it's actually really fucking interesting for a show that has the action so sparsely spread apart and is mostly conversations. Actually want to watch it again since I didn't realize until reading old ass discussions from the 2000s that some of the interactions went over my head entirely. Also, BT best girl.

Recently rewatched/played Roots and GU. It was okay, aside from almost the entire second half of Roots being a waste of time, and best boy Piros being the character with the least relevance.

To be fair, IMOQ was the main thing so it was more like you had to watch an anime to get more context to the game's plot. In GU's case, if you don't watch Roots then you're kinda lost on Haseo's obsession with Ovan and Shino. It also completely recontextualizes Haseo's ability as a player. If you only play GU then you think Haseo just grinded and got good at the game during the timeskip and then it feels like there's a huge disconnect between Haseo's game knowledge and strength. If you watch Roots though, you find out that Haseo was literally boosted to his high level and 3rd form by Harald and then it all fits in place since Haseo was truly a shitter all along.

The anime to game multimedia thing gives a really unique sense of progression. You watch SIGN and the Guardians feel like these absolutely unbeatable monsters that leave nothing but destruction in their path, and then you get to the final dungeon of IMOQ and they show up as regular mob enemies that Kite and his crew take down with ease. Really shows just how skilled they were at the end of the series.

I probably will never get around to watch a playthrough of the games to know what happened to Sora

Sora is Haseo
