This is something that's always bothered me. How do people get in and out of the centrifugal gravity areas? For the life of me, I can't recall a scene showing that.
>>288492127That's L-Gaim, not Gundam.
>>288492127I'm sure I remember seeing ladders in corridor shots. Whether they've been used on-screen is another matter, but it's still pretty simple. You just climb the ladder until you can exit the rotating section and transition to zero G.
Bit of a shot in the dark but what do you guys think of the manga for The Origin and Thunderbolt?
Usually they show the characters go into an elevator in zero g and then come out in the gravity block. The actual transfer is hidden away because they know how mechanically complex it is.G-reco did show a very sketchy way of transfering the elevator between the 2 blocks. I think it was some of the early episodes
I love how despite this allegedly being a "grounded" series, Gundam can't be arsed to explore basic elements of its setting.
>>288492811Both are pretty good overall. I've seen people complain about Char wank in Origin but well, Char IS supposed to be this famous hotshot ace pilot in Zeon. Admittedly, some of the shit just happening to work in his favor is...eh, but he was supposed to be feeling like things were all according to keikaku until he encounters Amuro.
>>288492127Stepping away from how they showed it in the anime. For giant structures like a colony access between the rotating section and a fixed section shouldn't be too difficult for a human to navigate since they can only need to rotate slowly. For smaller structures like the argama that need to go at higher speeds maybe you could have a sequence of rotating rooms that gradually increase in speed so you build up to the section with the chute leading to the weight room.
>>288495122This is why most sci-fi series just have artificial gravity instead of the centrifugal rotation, cause the latter sucks ass for a visual medium and it's way too complicated.
