I missed discussing this when it came out, what did /a/ think of it. As someone who ~~hasn't seen or read Gintama~~ I wasn't totally sure what to expect, but I ended up liking it way more than I thought I would. It's definitely a little rough and not everything is a home run which I'm sure is partially due to it being based off a one-shot, but I was genuinely surprised at how it well it balanced the humor while being more serious than I thought it would be. Shame it's probably going to be forgotten forever due to Netflix jail and the usual zero promotion that comes with Netflix jail.
Also fuck the OST was so good, was happy when I saw it was the same composer for ~~Turkey!~~
