I suppose tourists now get to experience the delusion of ukelala fangirls firsthand. Even compared to Ichirukis, who overananalyzed every single frame of them together and confidently proclaimed they're meant to be, Ulquihimes were even more delusional, which is really saying something. I'm not kidding when I say a non-insignificant number of them expected the emospada to appear in the last arc and sweep the princess off her feet and into the sunset for their happy ending. I'm sure Kubo is well aware of this, since he got tons of fan letters when Ulquiorra died and even on Twatter he once or twice interacted with their shippers - including a Jap user who thanked him for creating the two, since she loved the pairing - so I have zero clue why he chose to "feed" them like this - implying there was or ever will be anything romantic about their dynamic, but I digress, since I'm trying to. somehow empathize with those who have shipping goggles fused to their cranium. Though I guess it's because they were never as bad as Ichirukis, who personally got on his nerves back in 2010, and then did everything in their power to prove him right for sticking to his two main pairings in the years after.
