This episode got me even more confused.Subaru really did go outside right? Then Shaula killed the worm for some reason, and the worm itself being there was Meili's attempt at Subaru right? I was spoiled on Meili but whatever. But from then on I don't get what's real but he really did end up in the tower again, probably hallucinated it all die to miasma.Wasn't Shaula supposed to be chimping out in the archive? Why did she save Subaru and not no-scope him for breaking the rule?If she chimped out at the archive then why was her body in the hallway? I can only guess that Anastasia tried to escape via the stairs and got sliced by Shaula, battle progressed down into the hallway and Shaula herself was sliced by icicles judging from those scars and then headshoted by Emilia. Then after that Ram was killed by gluttony, then Meili where Julius found her and made his last stand. Severity of their wounds doesn't match Shaula's so that's why I suspect they were killed by different people. Emilia was currently sitting somewhere mindbroken and Beako is truly MIA.In the next loop Meili was killed in a similar way. But again, why was Rem able to be controlled, why can gluttony selectively wipe Subaru's specific memories so it's as if he woke up at night but remembers what happened that morning and how the fuck does Shaula not know someone else is in the tower? Memory can seemingly be wiped by however much your heart desires and Satella was just being a bitch with her checkpoint for no reason.Also this came to me as I was writing this, but the reason Subaru found himself in the tower again after exiting was Gluttony right? Gluttony was fucking with Subaru there but is aware of his looping? Maybe due to his smell? No other reason not to kill him on the spot.And Patrasche was just too cool to kill at the time.
