Much isolated issue with Taiki's relationship is that his ex saw what she did as a compromise for a long time. To play along Taiki's wishes while feeling as though she's being wronged. she cheated and it's him apologizing to her, because she made him feel guilty about not being able to understand she's compromising for his sake. when in reality she could be just using all of this as an excuse to be a bitch. She could have talked to him, she could have addressed his ego or whatever, but her actions are not justified.
